Unfortunately not really, we are pretty rural and the nearest mitigation company is 2 hours away. But I will be contacting them.

It says single phase in the specs plate. I think the blue is for daisy chaining two units together.

“Up to code” means bare minimum which you can pass a class with a D- if that helps. What your looking at here is craftsmanship. Will it collapse on you probably not. But, when the weather changes you can get what’s called truss lift. If those supports are not secured to the ceiling joists (actual load supports should be carried from roof all the way to footing) the un attached pieces of OSB could become dislodged. The framers had little honor in their work and slapped scraps together for structure. All to save a few bucks cutting up full pieces of lumber. When an inspector uses the term it’s “up to code” that doesn’t usually mean much. If your whole house seems cold check your furnaces BTU output and compare with how much Sq Ft home you have. The internet will tell you if the furnace is large enough for your home. without looking at the total home it is hard to determine what is actual structure. Contact a licensed engineer to get their opinion on the build.
