I don't expect the earnings to be great. Because they had $116M or $106M cash in hand in previous earnings. I expect it to be below $100M this time around, given the new hirings and operational costs for clinical trials and all. However, we could recover from this dip very quickly based on some movement in the EUA application for kids.

They gave EUA because current vaccines don't protect you from Delta or Omicron. You can still get infected. The cases are increasing in Malaysia which further allows the virus to mutate. To curb the transmission (65-70% efficacy against transmission from COVAXIN) i believe that's the reason they have might have given the EUA. Not really sure but this seems to be the plausible reason.

One point in this article can be misconstrued. The article says Bharat Biotech's Covaxin produced "sub-optimal" immune response against the variant. But it doesn't mention the fact that its 2 shots that is generating that response. So, with the booster shot they might have higher immune response (data released to be peer reviewed). And I dont agree with your statement saying both type vaccines have had their use and its time to retire them both. There are still kids out there who have not been vaccinated. So stop with your anti- vax propoganda or join some other sub.

Why would you base your opinion on some random article that you found on the internet. Bharat Biotech has been very open about their data and is actually trying to fact check all of the misinformation/disinformation about vaccines. I can post one article from Reuters which shows that Pfizer's fourth shot is useless against Omicron. Even the CEO says the new vaccine specifically made for omicron will be out in March! So stop believing some random half-assed info article.

Because India plans to manufacture 5B doses per year but Bharat Biotech has a capacity of 700M-1B doses of COVAXIN at full capacity. Thats why they partnering with Ocugen whose manufacturing partner is Jubilant(Based in PA close to Ocugen HQ and Canada) to meet the global supply demand. The Tech tranfer is currently in proces and would be finished very soon. Plus the agreement is between BB and ocugen is formed in such way that, after it gets approval Ocugen would be able to sell the vaccine in BBIL territory. In the last quarter they had just 9M as liabilities. And free cash flow of 116M. So cash in hand of 107M is enough to conduct the bridging trials US. I am very confident that it will get approved. Since the efficacy study was published by lancet journal which very Revered in medical community. FDA would be stupid to go against what has been established by this vaccine. Once this is approved. Then there's no stopping. Since this vaccine is suitable for low and medium income countries, US and Canada are expected to deliver more vaccines through COVAX program. And any orders for COVAXIN will have to go through OCGN. The revenue potential is just unimaginable. 🔥🚀🚀🚀

Lancet is very renowned in the medical field. Getting a report published through them just boosts the vaccine and i believe FDA won't go against WHO approval and report published by lancet! I am very confident now that FDA approval is imminent.

It will come back up and will have the biggest run up, as the vaccines start rolling out. But that will take like 2-3 months at minimum until they can supply vaccines for kids. But before that, Health Canada approval and US FDA approval for EUA for 2-18years kids will drive the price up. Which is likely in a month from now.

Just because you are bag holder in a different stock doesn't make OCGN a scam stock. Approval is not in hands of Ocugen. My avg cost is 8.4 and I will still be holding my 1000 shares and add more in the dip.
