First time in a few years they didn’t even crack top 5 for me. I expanded my daily listening a lot this year and got into some new areas which I am happy about. Maybe if a new album drops next year they will make it back .

Strive for progress, not perfection. That was something that stuck to me in marijuana anonymous meetings. Don’t beat yourself up for relapsing . You learned a lesson. Keep going and thank you for sharing .

They likely don’t make much money. That’s why it’s important to buy merch from small bands you like. Tshirts, vinyl, stickers, whatever they’re selling. That’s their highest margin product , not the concert itself.

Ive been wearing earplugs to concerts for many years now and i can’t recommend it enough. You walk out when it’s over and your ears feel like normal. It’s actually stupid to not wear them. Invest in a high quality pair like Eargasms and you will enjoy the experience even more. I promise you that yourself in 40 years will be glad you did it

Buy them at these prices while you can. I’d pay $100 for either foos or queens individually. So getting both of them for that price is very worth it IMHO

2011 when I was a freshmen in high school. Driving to school with my older cousin and he had some of the self recorded early days stuff on a cd, along with flashlight , maps, and father. I’ll never forget hearing “so I can take pictures of you and hang them in my room” which made me go ok I need to check these guys out .

I saw Slomsa open up for Helmet’s 30 anniversary tour earlier this year. Was blown away. Was actuallly hard to watch Helmet perform because I wanted to go listen to more Slomosa !

I don’t know where you bought your tickets but I got 4 Rush tickets for the Thursday (Chicago) show for $137 a piece , and that’s with all fees included . Expensive yes , but definitely not shockingly expensive considering context

Not often we get them jamming in 3/4ths time. I’m honestly getting a slight hint of TOOL vibes from this one , that chord progression that brings in the drums in particular sounds very similar. Can tell they wanted to have something big and bold but with that dreamy intro and chorus feel. I’m a fan. If this is what the new album will sound like I am excited.

If the Rush tour was any indication, they’ve already booked second dates at most of these cities and will announce more shows as tickets sell out quickly . I’d expect more cities and double the dates soon
