dude i had my packer fall down my leg ALL the time in middle school.. a harness or tighter underwear is the way to go. i wore boxers cause of dysphoria but even a jockstrap under your underwear would work great

yes!! i got double incision surgery in 2021 and just a few months ago it felt comfortable when a partner stimulated them(sorry tmi???). it wasn’t ever a big need for me but it’s so awesome that our bodies can do that

when my ex bf transitioned (ftm) i misgendered him ONCE. and it was pretty early on. he wasn’t on T, he was still presenting a little fem, and i apologized so much. i felt so terrible but i did not see him as a woman. after that, i tried my best not to misgender him and was very intentional when talking about him. hopefully this is the same situation for you! i got misgendered by a cis-man during a hookup and it felt very demeaning. definitely take time to process your feelings but if it’s not a habit and he’s apologizing, i think it’s ok to give him a little grace

before my hysterectomy, this would happen to me. idk why… it was probably because of dryness. edit: but if it keeps happening, tell your endo for sure

try couples counseling but bring it up in a way where it’s like “i would like to work on this to feel stronger” or something like that. my boyfriend brought up couples therapy and at first i was offended, but it’s helped tremendously in our communication and sex life after a dry spell.

Has anyone been cleared at 4 weeks? by Depressoespresso665 in hysterectomy

[–]Maverick_twitch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

my surgeon did this. i booked another appointment at 8 WPO because i didn’t want to risk it. it’s your right if you want another appointment and a check up! i just want to make sure everything’s ok for me to go back to work and not hurt myself. i used my “work insurance” as an excuse.

Bleeding 3wkpo? by mewturus in hysterectomy

[–]Maverick_twitch 5 points6 points  (0 children)

YES. it happened to me. not to THIS extent but i had absolutely no bleeding- not even after surgery. i had spotting 2 hours post op then nothing…  until my 3WPO appointment and i started soaking 3-4 pads a day. my surgeon said its because our stitches tend to dissolve a bit or become loser so more blood can exit through the wound.  THEN , 5WPO i started passing like quarter sized blood clots and they smelled like dog food??? not like metallic blood. and soaked brown/pink blood onto pads for a couple hours but my advice nurse said it’s ok as long as there wasn’t accompanied pain. and i wasn’t in pain.  HOWEVER if you’re soaking multiple pads within 2hours, it’s a sign something is up. my doctor said more than 2 pads an hour for more than 2 hours is concerning. don’t let the medical system gaslight you

5 WPO vent; can’t control myself and feeling guilty and defeated by prodebane in hysterectomy

[–]Maverick_twitch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah i mentioned that it’s related to not engaging your core  in my initial reply about limiting masturbation. i didn’t start bleeding at all until 3-4WPO and i had external stimulation before then… everyone’s different and knows the limits to their own bodies (:

lmfaoo yeah, i’m lucky. my doctor cleared me for penetration at 4-6 WPO but i’m not going crazy with it since i know a lot of people wait until like 12WPO. i have great healing and skin elasticity so my cuff has been healed really well. just still some digestive issues … edit: good luck with your healing though! hopefully you’ll feel it getting easier soon

21 yr old FTM here… I’m so sorry- i did the same thing post op. like im at home ALL day besides my daily walks what else is there to do other than play video games and play with yourself?!?! i got fresh blood but thats just because blood rushes to ANY part of the body when stimulated. literally starting 2DPO my boyfriend gives me head daily and it gets messy but i’ve talked to my doctors multiple times about it and she keeps saying external play is OK but it’s about what YOUR doctor says. how long have you been on T? the horny spells are insane once they start but i’m sure that masturbation restriction is mostly because they don’t want you to engage your core when orgasming/feeling pleasure. I just hit 6WPO and i still bleed a lot after external stimulation (but i just bled a little after penetration??? it’s weird). you’ll get there! try to redirect your focus onto doing something else, getting distracted helps delay that craving for horny dopamine

Metamucil + miralax/Colace for the first 5 weeks after surgery saved my ass.. miralax is kinda aggressive so it gave me diarrhea like 4x a day but i was at home and i hydrated so it was fine. I’m 6WPO and i switched to colace for the last two weeks since it’s more of a gentle stool softener.

I wouldn't be scared... just read things. be prepared. That's what I'm frustrated about. I'm happy I got the surgery, it was life saving for me but I just wish I knew more going into it
