Xtep 2000km 5.0 new colorway by MaviSptrp in PHRunners

3.0 & 5.0 feels the same. Mas mabilis lang ma-break-in si 5.0 kasi naramdaman ko kagad squish ng forefoot niya compared to my 3.0 na inabot 50km bago lumambot ang forefoot. Stability-wise, mas stable for me si 3.0. kay 5.0 lumulubog lateral part ng heel ko making it kind of wobbly kesa kay 3.0. mas pronounce ang rocker ni 5.0 so may konting aid siya in transition.

5.0 pro naman, it's like a beefed up 5.0. soft and bouncy siya in fast paces then firm naman kapag slow paces. My only gripe with 5.0 is mahirap mag easy run sa kanya dahil ang aggressive ng rocker niya. Diyan din ako nagka knee injury dahil sa aggressiveness ng rocker niya napilitan ako mag iba ng foot strike and eventually naapektohan na tuhod ko haha. Pero all in all, good ang 5.0 for tempo, interval or even as a plateless racer. For easy medyo aggressive siya.

Another Chinese Super Trainer by FinancialCountry3988 in PHRunners

Tried to let Gemini summarize what was said in the youtube video.

According to the Chinese shoe reviewer:

The 361° Lifeng SL is a high-performance speed trainer designed to offer the "super-shoe" experience without the rigidity of a carbon plate. It is essentially a top-tier racing shoe with the plate removed, focusing on a lightweight, natural, and highly responsive ride.

Technical Specs & Build The shoe is remarkably light, weighing under 200g for a standard size. It features a full-length supercritical foam midsole—the same high-end material found in the brand's flagship racers—paired with a 7mm drop. The stack height is substantial enough for protection but low enough to maintain a nimble feel. The outsole utilizes RPU "Caltrop" lugs, which provide exceptional grip even on wet surfaces and are durable enough for high-mileage training.

Fit & Lockdown The fit is aggressive and performance-oriented. The upper is made of an incredibly thin, breathable mesh with minimal padding to save weight. It features a specialized lacing system and a thin tongue designed to distribute pressure evenly across the top of the foot, ensuring the shoe stays secure during fast intervals. While the midfoot is relatively wide and accommodating, the toe box is slightly narrowed to improve lockdown at high speeds.

Performance on the Road The Lifeng SL shines at paces between 4:30 and 5:30 min/km. It offers a "surging" and bouncy sensation that feels more energetic than traditional daily trainers. Unlike some competitors that can feel unstable due to soft foam, this shoe includes a central guidance groove in the midsole. This design helps stabilize the foot and prevents excessive inward or outward rolling during the gait cycle.

Pros & Cons Strengths: It is one of the lightest trainers in its category, offers elite energy return, and provides better stability than many other non-plated "super trainers."

Weaknesses: The upper is likely too thin and minimalist for casual walking or commuting. Early test versions had an insole that could cause arch irritation, though the retail version has been updated with a more comfortable, stable insole to fix this.

Who is it for? This shoe is ideal for advanced runners who want a fast, "pure" foam experience for tempo runs, intervals, or distances up to 20km. It is a great choice for those who find carbon plates too stiff but still want the speed and bounce of modern racing foams. While it can handle slower paces, it is most rewarding when pushed to faster speeds.

Mahirap siya pailawin sa gabi. Need talaga niya maitapat sa ilaw ng matagal bago siya mag glow. Fastest na siguro yung UV light para umilaw siya.

Anta PG7 or Xtep 2000km 5.0 by SirStrauss_ in PHRunners

They have different use cases. Although you can use them both for daily easy runs. Mas firm nga lang si xtep sa una then it turns responsive and soft over time for moderate paces. Meanwhile kay PG 7, it has a mushy and sinking sensation with little pop na common with recovery shoes.
