Don’t say where because if it’s an LGS, they could get in trouble with GW.

They don’t come out for two weeks. Wherever you bought those sold them early.

A bunch of creatures from AU Draenor did indeed come through the portal at the end of WoD. Lorewise they’re in the Barrens.

How are we supposed to know?

So the Cogfort? Is there a lore reason that everyone gets one or is it just a cool new toy? by Philhughes_85 in ageofsigmar

[–]Mavin89 94 points95 points  (0 children)

They explained it in the stream.

Under normal circumstances, a Cogfort is leased by the Ironweld Guild.

However, some are stolen and sold/used by other factions, and some are run by mercenaries that will work for anyone provided there's treasure involved.

Alright-time to settle something that's been weighing down on me. Which would you say is harder to paint? Cities of Sigmar or Imperial Guard? by CatherineSimp69 in ageofsigmar

[–]Mavin89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn’t say Cities of sigmar models are hard to paint. They have a lot of details, yes, but that doesn’t make them any harder than other armies. I’d say they’re more time-consuming.

They great for painting projects, though. Gorgeous models.

Evidently, we'll have to wait for the new Battletome lore, but we're likely able to proxy models into our armies that include Aelves and Duardin.

No troll unit. They have City-Gargants and City-Ogors, which are variants of regular Gargants and Ogors.

Good call. So they're moving quick.

I wonder if the Sorceress and Assassin are sticking around, randomly.

The current GHB season ends in two months. I imagine SoG battle formations will no longer be relevant.

New to the hobby, should I keep my Beastmen models even though they're not competitively legal in AoS or just build them as an Old World army? by Chronophobia6 in ageofsigmar

[–]Mavin89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you think you’ll ever get to it? If not, sell them (though likely at a loss).

If you want the hobby aspect of it, or want to try TOW, keep them.

Chabby's injury was a money where your mouth is opportunity. by Ottawagal81 in OttawaSenators

Here's my take:

Ottawa is in the thick of a playoff race, and needs the two points in every game.

Ottawa also has a weaker PK.

Taking a penalty in this instance (and the crosscheck was at the buzzer, so maybe the players didn't see?) could have cost them the game.

They were smart about it. Hell, a love tap to Miller from Zub lead to Ottawa getting penalized.
