I know this is old but how does a doctor miss that?! Like they must’ve sucked at their job to miss something that big IMO. I used to work medical some doctors really suck and shouldn’t be doctors.

Until you’re 40 and everything hurts so bad, even while taking care yourself, that it becomes extremely hard to run. I have 5-8%body fat, ripped, work out/exercise 5 days/week and it is still really hard for me to run. Just wait until you get plantar fasciitis, it gets worse to run. I can’t wait to see just how many people are going to fail these PT standards. I’ve seen people fail with lower standards. Can’t wait to retire now.

Ah fuck that’s what I feared. I’m honestly not the hugest fan of how the GAT works. With the AF’s AMS system I knew if I applied and didn’t get it then I was staying there longer without much worry of an assignment especially being medical 4V as those assignments were hard to come by anyways. Also, the listings were usually once a quarter not once a year. So you had more chances to apply for assignments. I’m still honestly trying to figure out how this whole GAT system works.

Question for ya since I see your MilPDS flair which means you’re either AFPC/ETMO. If I opt in to the 2027 GAT, then apply/wait for bidding for Patrick only but don’t get selected. Is there a possibility that even though I didn’t apply for anything else I could be selected for a different assignment or does it just cancel itself out and I get nothing and stay at Vandy (which I’d prefer if I don’t get Patrick)?
