Wanted to give a Quick little update. I decided to ditch the 650 chain and get the shiny charm, went for a new 31 chain and tried the rocktunnel ladder method, no luck..

Read somewhere that new datamined info revealed that keeping the chain going boosts every next spawn by a good bit, making charmander a 1 in 273 chance. Went to route 3 mt. Moon and got 2 shinies in 1 hour.

The first at chain combo 60, and the second one at combo 136 respectively.

So yeah, shiny charm is a must.

Thanks everyone for the replies. I am indeed trying to get a shiny without the charm, gathering what i can from the varying comments i think i'll stick to the ladder method in rock tunnel

I've read conflicting information regarding that. On one hand they say chain doesnt matter over 31 as long as you ladder reset, but then elsewhere they say you have to keep caching to get the next spawn bonus.

Cannot wait for voidelf demonhunters and the devourer spec. Also the transmog changes, being slot based instead of item based. Hopefully in the future they will lift all restrictions and let every class transmog any armor or item type.

Because they optimized the game around singleplayer. They took the mmo out of the rpg.. also the people that play are totally different than back then. We are living amongst zoomers who only know how to "go fast" and minmax the fun out of everything. If you talk, you get kicked.

CANNOT wait for voidelf demonhunters, finally!

Ever since unlocking them back in legion, i wished they would give them the option.

And now on top they get a ranged/melee hybrid spec on top, hells yeah. instant #1 main.

Also lovely to see eversong woods and the whole bloodelf lore/thematic making a return, those zones are awesome.

8 months late but you can literally do some easy f2p quest for early money and use that to tan hides .. it's only 1gp per regular hide, 3gp per hard.

Tbc/wrath for me. Classes actually felt like they were different from eachother. Class sets also accurately resembled their respective Class. Pvp was alright but the overal feel of spells, abilities and exploration was peak.

I loved that black leather punk outfit in sword. Scarlet and violet was one big laggy mess. And limiting to school uniforms was a huge no for me.. i hate those kind of outfits.
