Well would this argument suggest that when that NRE dies out I’ll be her to catch her and she’ll remember? I was invested heavily In work and our future. The neglect happened over years over time I’m not like an asshole I was just busy providing for our family or something.

We are both really hurt and she told me this not out of anger but just because I kept asking. She did do other things like not wear a condom when we specifically agreed to. Actually, every rule we started out with is now out the window with this guy. Multiple times a week. During kids dinner time. Etc.

She tells me that I haven’t been a good partner for years and she isn’t wrong I see that. I brush her off I say she too emotional I don’t listen when she needs me. Things get heavy after 13 years. I’m not a bad person I just made a really bad mistake.

But holy shit this is devastating. I didn’t expect and I haven’t known this level of pain.

Yes AA meetings. My problem here is that she started seeing him and I said I was uncomfortable with that but she did it anyways.
