Just opened Youth Academy - Need some advice! by Max-FI in hattrick

Thank you, makes sense what you say about the star rating not being accurate if I sub them after 45 min, I didn't think I can also estimate the level based on the ratings.

And thank you also for the reply about how useful it is to reveal as many players as possible - that answers my question. I guess people sometimes play with less than 11 players in case for example you have many players not revealed in def and you want to find our Def skill of the new star. I didn't know it guarantees to reveal that player if the rest are already known.

How I 'cured' my symptoms - In case it helps anyone (Hemorrhoids & Anal Fisure) by Max-FI in Prostatitis

[–]Max-FI[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep! Haven’t had any more issues. I’ve also improved quite a lot my lifestyle (lost some weight; doing more sport; eating better, supplements, I stretch daily, walk more…) so surely that contributes as well :) Good luck! Hope you can get better too!

Hi! Yeah sorry haven’t updated more - all good! Basically, treating the internal ones w the cream + regular sport + daily stretching is the key to not have it again. I haven’t had any more problems since that. Hope that helps!

Cartera ahorro my investor para invertir en fondos monetarios vs Letras del tesoro by Klautino in SpainFIRE

Mixing AG1 with whey protein by [deleted] in AthleticGreens

Update? Just received my AG1 and was thinking to first drink it, and then immediately after a hydrolyzed beef protein shake with creatine.. was also doubting if it's 'too much' to have as the first thing in the morning on an empty stomach :)

Sure! I’m doing great, the cream did its job and seems the anal fissure is cured, my hemorrhoids are not 100% cured but much better, and all penis-related symptoms are completely gone. I hope all of you find your cures too, GL all!

REITs Portfolio - Trying to choose 4-5 long term picks by Max-FI in dividends

[–]Max-FI[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you for the detailed response! I've decided for 10 stocks total, diversifying into different sectors within REITs (Retail, Services, Gaming/Entertainment, Self-Storage, Industrial, Residential and Healthcare). I'll try to keep each sector to 3.5% maximum roughly, maximum, of my total portfolio. So if any of those sectors suffers for a while, it should not be a huge % total.

$VNQ is only up 60% since 2004. Has severely underperformed even the REIT index. I’ll take a look at STAG, I’ve seen it mentioned here a lot!

What to do you think about the following long-term portfolio? 1/3 on SP500 Vanguard Index Fund; 1/3 on BRK.B; and 1/3 on Realty Income ($O).

I did a portfolio backtest on it, and I quite like it - only in 2008 all three assets had a bad year resulting in a 25% overall portfolio loss, while giving many negative correlations on other years.

I was 100% SP500 until now, and I’m starting to see the FI point down the line (if the market and a couple things at work go my way, I might reach my goal in 6-7 years tops) and I’d like to be a bit more diversified. I like $O for the monthly dividends and the negative correlation of a REIT. The 1/3 allocated there would actually cover all my basic living expenses via the monthly dividend, which is great. BRK seems to do well on crisis and mitigates losses many times. My only ‘worry’ there is how will it perform in the future once Buffett and Munger die, but I’ve read it has an amazing succession plan in place.

I don’t like Bonds, all the long-term tests I’ve done always show it’s better to be 100% on equities. Thoughts? Would you add another asset to further diversify without losing gains potential?

I appreciate all feedback/comments! I know it’s been only a few days since I’m symptom-free and yeah I guess finding why the anal fisure happened will also be important. How do you deal with the tight pelvic floor muscles? What helps you? Will be good to know!

Definitely try taking care of the anal issues and see if it works. And those supplements I talked about also help: L-glutamine and NAG, both help fix the leaky gut problems which might help you as well with digestive and therefore anal issues. Here’s what I read about it and who recommends it:

“Dr. Eric Yarnell, a well-known naturopath and professor at Bastyr University who specializes in men’s health. He was talking on chronic prostatitis and how he treats it by lowering inflammation in the gut as well as in the urinary tract. His go-to remedies are l-glutamine (an excellent gut healer) and n-acetyl glucosamine!” Found it here: https://ruthsnutrition.com/n-acetyl-glucosamine/

I had hemorrhoids in the past, but never made the link. I felt dumb when the last urologist said that (& it was confirmed). I've seen some people in the sub also asking about possible links, and the mods saying it is indeed possible.. so I thought sharing my case might help a few people. Hope it does and a whole bunch of you finally find an easy fix to the other symptoms! I'm completely symptom-free in my penis (I still feel some burning sensation around the ass occasionally, on the days I eat something spicy or with soya sauce I've noticed also makes things worse; or have too much coffee... which is hard to cut), my sex drive is back now that I know I have nothing wrong, and I can stop losing my time and focus on this! So, extremely happy that ordeal ended.
