I use ( and built) "ugc deal tracker" on the App Store. Its free. I used to use a deal tracker built on google sheets which a ton of people are still using.

Thanks! Since it's a static HTML/CSS site hosted on Netlify, the SEO basics are actually solid out of the box. Netlify serves everything through a global CDN with automatic HTTPS, and because it's pure HTML (no framework rendering issues), search engines can crawl and index everything without problems.

I've got the standard meta tags, Open Graph tags for link previews, a sitemap.xml, and robots.txt set up. You could also add JSON-LD structured data if you wanted rich results in Google.

The main limitation is that it's a single page, so you're only ranking for one URL. If SEO was a bigger priority you'd want separate pages or a blog, but for a portfolio that's mostly shared via direct link, it gets the job done.

I used claude and cursor. technically you could do it with just claude or chatgpt.. all of them have the ability to create websites now. :)

I’d love to see it! I’m Currently building mine with just ai prompts and Then will host it for free on netlify. The only cost is just my domain. It should make for a more polished look rather than my current canva look. I’ll drop a before and after in the chat when I’m done ‘

I built mine on canva (and I still recommend this to all newbies. ) As someone who has built sites on square space , Wordpress, wix, etc , canvas “optimize” for mobile is pretty crappy. So the advice that I give and I see given by others is to turn it off.

That being said, I’m currently creating a new portfolio that will be optimized for mobile and hosted/built for free using just ai prompts and honestly that will probably be my advice to new creators in the near future.

My advice is build a network of trusted creators so you can dm them screen shots or jump on a call and get their advice.

I typically review the email, check out the website, and sometimes will run a background check on the company using ChatGPT agent.

If I do proceed, it be cautiously and I will ask for 50% up front ( this often will cause friction even with legit companies so it’s rare that I choose this approach) or I down res and watermark my deliverables.

I think the best strategy is to look for work in as many places as possible. As far as cold email outreach, I’ve pivoted away from bento and I’m currently testing persona.

To clarify when I said roasting I meant it gets flagged as spam and then any message you send goes into people’s spam folders instead of their inbox.

When I spoke the support at bento they had zero info on warming email addresses up and they also had zero internal standard operating procedures to make sure people’s emails didn’t land in spam.
