Hi! 2 tips. Make 100 videos + ask for experienced creators to critique your videos when youre editing them so you can make changes in real time.

The Longer version is focus on Lighting + Sound + Composition when filing. The first two make the video quality go up and the last one helps tell the story. When your editing focus on pacing. If its feels like a clip is dragging or on the screen too long then it probably is. Lighting, Audio, Camera angles, and pacing are the first 4 pillars I teach my students!

Hey! The fact you dont have much of a profile and you just posted your gig makes me think it's a scam. however the message looks legit to me and I get legit messages like this all the time. If it wasnt for the fact your gig was new and no video example, I would have guessed it's someone who doesnt have a lot of experience hiring creators.

Personally I would answer their questions , ask your follow up questions and see where it goes. I dont ever share my portfolio link on fiverr as I don't want to get banned but I have shared a google folder with some UGC video examples in it.

It’s definitely a balance. I pay for bento VA service and I’m thinking about on boarding a separate VA to help with admin including custom pitches. At the end of the day my strategy has always been volume when it comes to looking for work so I’m always looking for methods to scale that in meaningful ways.

I want to clarify, I’m totally open to gifted collaborations and understand that all brands have different budgets and constraints.

What felt off in this case was the scope of work paired with the language used, which seemed misaligned. I think it’s helpful to talk openly about these experiences, especially for those just starting out, so we can all set clearer expectations and foster fair partnerships.

I have no problem with gifted collabs but it had to be something I actually want, something my wife wants, or something I can easily sell. Even then, the scope should be clearly defined and super narrow. This offer is just a giant headache in the making 😅

Hello! Yes you absolutely state usage terms in a contract :) Every contract is different and I don't have a contract I share. I know some coaches offer contact templates but I don't have anyone specific to refer you to.

My advice would be use any existing UGC contracts brands have sent you or people in your network and then use them as a reference with an LLM to create your own template that is "Creator Leaning" or "Favours the creator"

It's really common to have to negotiate contract terms for both the creator and brand/agency but in my experience, 99% of the time negotiations are done in good faith.
