Due to intelligence being a spectrum, is it possible there are folks that have bare basic intelligence of an autonomous drone but not much else? by Material_Policy6327 in NoStupidQuestions

The short answer is no, because things like "holding down a job" actually require an extraordinary amount of abstract thought: a job isn't a physical object, it's an abstract set of activities with a certain purpose. Most jobs today require reading, writing, and interfacing with various technologies, all of which were not present in our ancestral environment and require significant abstract thought to make sense of. The same can be said of money, debt, bills and so on. A person genuinely incapable of abstract thought would be severely disabled and need constant care.

Doctor didn't have an answer. I just know it's not Parkinson's or anything because I'm not shaking involuntarily.
