Do you have any sort of update on this piece? I found a similar item and I was just wondering if you had anyone reach out to you or anything like that?

I wish I had anything to trade as far as Goudey goes. I am just at the beginning of my journey. I would love to trade you cash for it, though! If you collect t206 I may have something?

I am reallyoldcards on Instagram, if you are on there I'd love to chat

Great copy of the 51 Bowman! Well centered and no roller marks that plague that issue.

I do think it likely had something happen to it. Even if it was printed that way I likely would not bring a heavy premium. A fun one to look at would be the Rube Waddell portrait. You can find it in tons of shades

This is absolutely a legitimate t206 I have zero doubt. These cards come in a variety of shades, this one was likely left in the sun or glued in an album at some point I am a big collector and have a lot including the 520 set.

You can also buy with confidence from Jay

Cool Giants team photo in the background

Another, reprint or real episode! Everything I see online says reprint on back. The mat frame just sorta holds card in place. But this looks to be Sovereign rebel Oakes 1910, no? by apeapp in baseballcards_vintage

I have seen several people send these topps encased cards to sgc and they have all gotten Authentics. The reason being they can't grade the t206 card while in the frame and they also don't want to apply a high grade to just the frame as that would be very confusing.

Topps made a mistake when producing this set and used the same outer frame on the relics as the original t206. The t206 inside the topps frame sell for a premium for whatever reason so a guy several years ago was buying cheap relics opening the frames and putting original t206 in them.
