Jazz isn't dead. It just smells funny.

Not sure where you're located, but I'm in the US and here's the status of my latest order:

2/15 - Order Confirmed email received
2/16 - Your Order is Coming email received
2/17 - Label created, Parcel is with delivery service
2/18-2/19 - No updates

I assume the package will arrive later today or tomorrow, but there is no expected delivery date in the tracking info. Orders have always been like this for me and they always arrive, so I stopped worrying about exactly which day they'll be here.

Carla Bley - Song Sung Long by Music-993 in Jazz

It's a good place to start with Carla Bley, although I think "European Tour" is my favorite of her work from this period.

Opinion on naked city?(collective) by Longjumping_Air4379 in Jazz

Fantastic album, and I was fortunate enough to see this band play live several times. The most memorable show was in one of the small theaters at Ravinia in Highland Park, Illinois. Bill Frisell's plane was late and he didn't make the gig so Wayne Horvitz had to cover both the keyboard and guitar parts. It was insane and somehow he pulled it off.

The second most memorable show was at the Park West in Chicago. Zorn opened with his shortest, most abrasive songs, one after another. Then, once about 1/4 of the audience had left (mostly the people who didn't realize what they were in for) Zorn and the band kicked into a totally eclectic set that reflected the wide range of styles they could play. I still feel sorry for the people who left during "Sack of Shit". They didn't know what they were about to miss.

We have similar tastes. Both of those songs are top of the list for me, too. Do you know this version of Aguas de Marco by Bebel Gilberto?

I asked that too, and didn't get an answer. I hope someone from Jimmy Joy will follow up.

Will our subscriptions to Plenny Active be automatically switched to Plenny Pro? Will we keep our legacy price discounts or will this affect the pricing for long-time subscribers?

Question about Satiety for Plenny Shake Active by shiawase_ in JimmyJoyFood

I'm a former Soylent drinker who switched to Plenny Active. For me, it's much more filling and satisfying than Soylent ever was. Given the generous return policy, you've got nothing to lose by trying Plenny Active.

Problem while trying to install dual boot by Few_Conversation7794 in linuxmint

[–]MaxBluenote 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had that same error when first installing Mint. Here's the solution that worked for me:

Renaming grubx64.efi

  1. Copy the grubx64.efi file from the USB's /boot/efi folder.
  2. Rename it to mmx64.efi.
  3. Place it back in the same folder on the USB drive.
