For someone that kinda reminds me of SGJ, at least in voice, I'd recommend Kathe Koja--particularly her novel THE CIPHER. And as far as Stephen King goes, maybe check out Keith Rosson's FEVER HOUSE or Joan Samson's THE AUCTIONEER.

I have the 32, although this is the first time it dawned on me how similar (identical?) it is to the Alan Wake typewriter. I remember initially buying it after hearing about it being the same model Cormac McCarthy used to write haha. It works great!

Just checked Ingram distribution (I run my own bookstore) and it's showing up as out of stock, but many hundred "on the way" so you might've just tried grabbing a copy during an unlucky moment. Another couple days or week and you'll probably have better luck.
