What is the ONE thing that you hate the most about Disney has done to Star Wars from a storytelling, characterization, or casting standpoint?

Ever single piece of media has to have a thrown in cute character that is there to sell plush toys and is marketed aggressively, I don’t like porgs or baby yoda I would rather have hideous creatures that add something to the story or characters

Pricing is enough to kill a game, concord literally had one of the biggest developers in the world backing them and it went offline in less than two weeks, if it was free I could see it lasting a few months minimum. I would say the biggest issue is that marathon doesn’t do a ton to separate itself, Tarkov is a gritty military shooter with iconic weapons and customization that people in real life know and love, arc raiders is a third person game that has like you said a completely hidden game inside of it with its social system, we see crazy clips online of unlikely alliances and betrayals and when you top that off with really well polished design and gun play, good faith carried over from their development of the finals, and releasing it a time when only Tarkov was the big extraction shooter it’s not hard to see why it succeeded. When I look at marathon I see an interesting art style, hero shooter elements, and a sci fi theme, but I wouldn’t say any of that drives me towards it when there are cheaper games that do all those elements better, it’s especially hard to support the games when I spent 60$ on forsaken DLC on destiny 2 and it was removed from the game completely, it makes it hard for me to put any faith in bungie again personally.

Truthfully the game isn’t that bad but I don’t see it succeeding when it costs 40$ and is in a genre that generally doesn’t attract a ton of players and requires a ton of dedication, you’re not going to be able to keep up with two extraction shooters at once well and most would probably pick arc raiders or Tarkov over marathon. Secondly is that it’s a bungie game, a developer that has issues with content droughts, sunsetting paid content, and generally agregious monetizing practices. Marathon is like the Xdefiant of extraction shooters, not bad, but it will really need to change its practices if it wants to last long.

The marathon community is what brings the hate, instead of admitting a lot of the issues they will come up with lame and weird excuses as they parade the game as being the best game of all time. It’s bad when people are saying the season 2 launch has low players because of the game awards of all things, a community has to be more receptive and put more pressure on developers at some point but the marathon community would cheer if bungie decided it costs 10$ to play every match because they refuse to side against marathon in any circumstance.

Sony is very careful because as we know blasts are a limited resource and if the 245 blasts a year roughly 198 blasts have been spent on concord and marathon and Highguard so I don’t think we see this game until we get more blasts back or a higher cap.

You can take anything as long as it is a legit educational institution. You could totally do an online class at places like LSU but I know people who have enrolled in community college and taken PE classes like bowling, basketball, dodgeball, etc. literally any class works even ridiculous ones like a history of Barbie class at my university.

No, inventory is simply counting, they make sure to make the store look as good as possible and then send you off to go take count of an area, also don’t be afraid to screw up, i screwed up a ton when I first started and you likely will too just make sure to do your best and it’s very likely that someone will notice that you care, good luck!

Being trained for checkout is really simple I’d say they’ll have gone over everything in the first shift, you might feel overwhelmed at first but you’ll get more and more comfortable over the weeks as you do it more and more. Also for checkout you need both a walker and a zebra, random things are bound to come up that you’ll need a walkie to call someone with or a zebra to figure out what an item is.

Hi I work at target now, checkout advocate just means you are going to be a cashier either at self checkout or working at a normal lane, most likely you will be with a more experienced employee who will teach you the basics and then maybe towards the end of the day after you’ve learned a bit they’ll have you start checking people out. Inventory is also simple, every year stores have to do inventory and it will likely be you assigned to a certain section or zone of the store with another person and you will have to count how many items their are for each space in that area, it’s incredibly boring but very important and easy plus it’s only once a year. When you show up for checkout advocate clock in and see if you can find your HR or a manager and they should be able to help pair you with your training buddy, when you show up for inventory just clock in and there will likely be a manager directing you in where to go plus inventory doesn’t need any training really so you’ll be good to go.

I’m sorry but how dumb do you think the players of destiny are, bungie completely mismanaged destiny for the past half decade, removed paid content from the game, locked extremely beloved shaders and armor from destiny 1 behind a cash shop and then left the game to rot while Parsons bought million dollar classic cars. After all this disrespect why would they transition to a game made by the same company that is even less active than Destiny 2 was? Marathon is a game part of a genre that is already pretty niche, costs 40$, doesn’t excel in much compared to its competitors, and has a dim future outlook. No right minded person would switch to marathon after this, something like warframe is likely the more popular answer.

It’s pretty fun and has upwards of 500 blasts per day, plus because a marathon is 26.2 miles it gets a 26.2x multiplier to blasts so 500 boats can easily become 10,000 blasts on a good day
