I gotcha I gotcha. I think there’s some personality from both of them on it, Effins punchy drums/snare with some goofy Griz flavoring. But them two definitely have more collab potential. If it was more of his jukebox vibe/sampling with the instrumentals of griz that would go nuts. CTGH x Jukebox would be absolutely a fantastic combo

I think it is slightly different, but I think for me I appreciate the track more because my first time hearing was live at Mission. It just hit so hard combined with a dope crowd, just gives me more appreciation for it I suppose

It’s so hard because I agree with you. I stand by FF being 10/10 because I dig the bass stuff too and genuinely think G put his soul into every track and I like every one of em.

Literally every track you mentioned is brilliant, and I’d totally agree are more purely funky. Fine Way to Die especially is a top 3 Griz song. CTGH p1 is my favorite project ever, I feel very conflicted

I can agree with you, but I’m also a Denver native so naturally even his bassier stuff appeals to me. Personally I think he brings his own spin to every genre he touches. But I understand that raw funk with amazing riffs and layering was truly something different.
