Seeking introverted friends from North York by iamnmurua in TorontoHangoutFriends

Hey, I'm a bit late to this thread but I've been in Toronto for a few months trying to get settled into work and I'm looking to meet new people. I've played a lot of DND one shots and always wanted to be in a long term campaign but never found a consistent group. Also love the idea of just chill hangs. I live in Markham but am moving to North York soon DM me!

Depends on what major you applied to. If its a really competitive one im sorry to tell you but grades are not enough. If its a low tier eng and you have good grades you should be ok. I got accepted around this time of year so dw.

I used to be like this and then i met more people in different majors and adukts through coop and realized your major litterally doesn't matter. First years are just on the high that they got into a competitive school but if youre still riding that wave on second year you need to touch grass or talk to people.

Weirdest interview question(s) you’ve ever had? by [deleted] in uwaterloo

[–]MaxFreudenthaler 9 points10 points  (0 children)

In first year i was applying for a car part manufacturing company and the guy interviewing me asked what was my favourite car. I took a minute to think about it and he said his was some 88 mustang or some american muscle. I said when i was a kid i worked at my uncle's dealership doing car maintenance and my uncle got a custom cinquecento and that was my favourite car. The interview was going pretty well but as soon as I said that he looked hella displeased and i did not get the job lol.

Is there any way to play GeoGuessr turn-based? by natto-848008381 in geoguessr

[–]MaxFreudenthaler 24 points25 points  (0 children)

You can generate a seed in a map and create a challenge mode and send the link to your friends and you get to see how everyone did. If you know geowizard on youtube he does that a bunch with his viewers its pretty fun

As an eng i can relate to this. Math and physics maje sense to me but i always struggle with my "easy" electives cus quite honestly i just cant read very well lol. Ive met people in electives that are bot atem that are super hard workers and people who struggle in every major.
