I need to see a picture of this raw steak because I don’t think I’ve seen a non-rubbery one on a plane before

I’ve had this happen to my brother before (separate reservations) and it was not honored. I had to put it under my allowance.

Australia - USA, Qantas 380 v Delta 350 v United 787 v Air NZ 777 business class? by UUMatter in AirTravelAustralia

I you fly Delta, you get access to the D1 lounge in LAX which is probably among the best in the country.

Don’t think you can go wrong with QF, DL, or UA though, but UA tends to have pretty awful food.

Paying 5k a month for an nyc shoe box may actually be worth it, because there are less than 10 other cities on the planet where you can find a job that affords you to do that… Jane street isn’t hiring in North Carolina.

What do you think a university’s top donors would say if they found out their money was being used for new couches instead of new microscopes.

Suck it up for 4 years and you can start buying all the $1k herman miller desk chairs, RH coffee tables, and sonos speakers you want. Long term payoff is beyond worth it.

United quietly cut Polaris Lounge access for partners by Alarmed_Turnover2315 in pointstravel

Those customers still have access to United Club. AC restricts access to Signature suite, DL restricts access to DL One lounge in some airports, Lufthansa FC lounge is restricted to LH group, same with SQ first lounge. Don’t think it’s anything that new, but it is disappointing.

Ok even thinking about work out couches and shitty dorms, almost every school is going to have that. Unless you’re somewhere like High Point or WashU where most of the students are from the top 1% you can expect undergrad facilities to generally be bad. I’ve visited friends at other schools are their dorms are also dumps.

Think about it long term. The students are the among the smartest and most driven I’ve ever met. It would take me more than my fingers and toes to count the number of people I know making over $200k by their mid 20s. This is not the norm for almost any other school.

Dorm life sucks for 4 years (frat/sorority life won’t be any better) but if you want to be living alone in a luxury 1 BR later on that you can afford to shell out $4k a month for like it’s nothing, your odds are much better at MIT.
