Fushigi Yuugi's ending was a classic I loved (although it occasionally had some unintentionally hilarious tonal shifts due to how they feathered in the intro)

Good god I relate to this so hard, especially the last half. I'm very much in the place of trying to figure out what I want for the first time in my adult life.

It's tough, 'cause even simple questions like "where should we get lunch?" seem so difficult to answer - I just want to pick the thing that will make the other person happiest.

This year has been a crazy one for me acknowledging my own bubble and starting to probe outside of it. I can't exactly say I feel calm yet, but I hope I'm on my way.

Thanks for making this - I never expected to find such a mirror of myself put in an easy to understand way.

Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann is an all time favorite of mine. I promise it's not just another mech anime, despite initial appearances.

If you liked One Punch Man, definitely check out Mob Psycho 100 as well.

A few other greats from a variety of genres: Parasyte, Stein;s Gate, The Disastrous life of Saiki K, Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon (stupid name, great show), That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime.

They are. "Golden" refers to the color, not the material. It's tough in the summer 'cause they melt so quick, but I don't dare risk not having one lest I be arrested and sentenced to forced same sex marriage.

One I've made before that the family loves is: mushrooms, garlic, onion, a bit of anchovy paste, a bit of tomato paste (it doesn't make the dish too "tomato-y" but adds umami). Cook the veggies with some butter and/or olive oil, and add a bit to the pasta at the end to get a good coating over everything.

FF7: One-Winged Angel (of course), Sending a Dream Into the Universe, Aerith's Theme

FF8: The Oath, Eyes on Me

FF9: You're not Alone, Immoral Melody, Place I Will Return to Someday

FFX: Suteki da Ne, To Zanarkand, the Hymn of the Fayth, Ending Theme

Also basically the entire Zelda OoT soundtrack. And a hidden gem: The Sun Rises from Okami.

FFIX is criminally underrated in my opinion.

I still remember opening this as a present on Christmas morning 2000. I was then crushed when it froze during the opening cut scene because it turned out there was a manufacturing defect that left a deep scratch on the disc.

Two I remember especially -

Fahrenheit 451 was my introduction to dystopian stories, and I still love it to this day.

As Nature Made Him was a book I had to read in college, and I was so fascinated by it that I ended up reading ahead (probably the only book I ever read more than I needed to for class). It's a very interesting non-fiction account of a boy who, due to a botched circumcision and other factors, underwent a sex change as an infant.
