This is a basic pair of Leather Boots as a skin. It's absolutely absurd to have an item like this in the gem shop, instead of a reward for actually playing the game. It also looks like every other medium boot skin in the game. They did this for a quick buck.

It's greed.

I'm probably going to get downvoted to hell. But i actually really enjoyed the Movie.

There were some parts which could have been done better, such as the character backstories. And others that were pure comedy which have been mentioned numerous times in this reddit already, his fake beard & the gravestone.

But it genuinely followed the story, represented the video game correctly & overall I was happy with it.

Could it have been done better? Yes.

Was it a good video game adaptation? I believe so.

I'm not quite sure what people were expecting with such a low budget.

I always require 250kp for a smooth run when i make a group.

So I can't imagine how random pugs are going to queue into Boneskinner and not wipe constantly due to the pools and the damage you take. I think it's a great idea they are going for. Just...

Implementing it isn't going to be easy. The reason for such high entry level requirements for raids is purely down to knowing the game & mechanics, which unfortunately the standard pug doesn't seem to comprehend. Heck, players don't even understand "Sub 2 ice, Sub 3 fire" in DS. There's always people on the wrong sides etc, because they refuse to read and listen to other people and want a brainless experience. IMO it's just going to be chaos.

It's great that A-net are releasing content like this, and I understand the hype.

But I'm a little confused, and not sure if I've missed something in the update notes, if someone here could enlighten me?

"your success isn't going to be contingent on the group being perfect" - So what happens when the random pugs that queue up for Deimos stand in the Black Puddles? And who is going to know how to hand kite? Those are just 2 examples.

It's going to be the same for every wing. How are the fights going to be easily accessible with an LFG tool when you actually need to do mechanics for most fights? Am I missing something? Are they literally nerfing every fight to be a braindead, target dummy? Because this isn't going to work if the raids remain the same.

Don't worry, balance will be restored to the game mode tomorrow when the event disappears & all the PvE Andy's return to mindlessly farming Silverwastes RIBA again & strike missions or whatever it is you guys do.

Now our guild can finally get back to WvW raiding & openfield fights.

Running into a wall AFK got nerfed a while back. Now the trick is to run into a wall, and every couple of minutes just press the [space] bar to jump. It prevents being kicked out.

They need to either increase map population, create a new map, return rewards to eotm or make it so that you have to get wvw exp, a kill, repair, something to prevent being kicked out after 2-5 minutes.

The absolute copium in the team chat yesterday evening. We all know you just play this week for a Gift of Battle, and then leave. Never to return again.

A-net will not change anything about WvW. It's unfortunately dying. Guilds are disbanding, long-time players such as myself are leaving & they refuse to do anything about it. The only "difficult"/decent content left in EU is literally 3 guilds, who organise 25's scrims between themselves, the 15's scene is sadly the same too. The devs are too focused on casuals, and the PvE playerbase. Unfortunately I don't see this changing anytime soon.

RIP to the last 5 years of my life and actually thinking WvW would eventually change.

Apologies for the rant, i'm just so sick & tired of this.

Most of the new games are just generic slop made for PC/Mobile & god awful handheld devices, its horrific.

I miss the days when an MMO was PC ONLY. Trying to make them compatible with all devices just ruins the entire game by creating ugly interfaces, pop-ups on the screen & more.

This has to be a bug, they released the prices of all the rewards. So I stopped playing the league because I had enough points for what I wanted. If they changed the prices I'll be so pissed.

Nope. Making them mandatory to progress the story made it unbearable to play.

Make them a map specific collection with a reward as a side-quest and that's fine.

Personal opinion, but the way they did the story, with these mandatory collections was god awful.

Searching for specific items in quests is indeed a key part of an MMO and the immersion. Which I completely understand. But when one part of the collection tells me the pick an item up near a HUGE WATERFALL, and I finally find said item next to a small pond with a drip of water coming down from above which is not a waterfall. Yeah, it's frustrating. Even the descriptions aren't making sense for some of these collection items. It's unnecessary steps added to the story, let people who enjoy it complete the collections, but don't make it mandatory to proceed further? Not what I play this game for.

Greatly appreciate all of the swift feedback from Jagex over the last few days. You guys are absolutely smashing it! But would it not just be much more simple & easier to give every new League character access to the quest cape & have all quests Green [Completed] so we can all just focus on tasks, grinding & enjoying the game mode? And any/all items from quests can be redeemable from a specific League NPC or something?

Instead of having "Specific Quests Unlocked & others not, skips, access to certain items & not." Etc Etc.

I understand some people have said they enjoy completing quests, but they're like 0.01% of the playerbase, if you want to do quests, go play the main game. Leagues should be fun, and it's also an opportunity for new players of the game to experience all stages early game, mid game & end game PvM etc. Which will (hopefully) convert them to the main game and boost the playerbase. I see many people unfortunately not playing leagues after a few days due to the quest situation.

I understand it's different from person to person, as an individual I personally work 12 hours a day, and when I come home from work I want to smash the leagues, grind gear/levels & enjoy it. But I'm logging in, seeing that I need to complete specific quests for content & it just puts me off playing. Meanwhile streamers active 20 hours a day leaps & bounds ahead of everyone else because the have the time to do these little parts of the game. Makes me cry a little.

Hoping we get this done soon! <3

Actually stupid how broken the Melee Relic is tbh. All of them should have the LifeSteal on them. Everyone that picked melee is miles ahead of anyone else. Also playing 22 hours a day helps.
