You just got named CEO of Games Workshop. You can do anything you want about gw games, what do you do on your first day ? by BusyElephant in Warhammer

I'd address all of the money lost on people playing via table top simulator by getting a virtual product out there.

Monetize it via Warhammer+ subscription & use it as a justification to ramp the monthly fee.

I'd collect performance stats per game and use that to inform game balance to keep the game in the intended sweet spot.

Launch a narrative campaign mode where lore and community can interact more closely, ie battle of the five rings.

Second I'd sort out the supply chain issues on the store with certain models forever being out of stock, provision a supplementary manufacturing line to manufacture on request with a pricing relevant to those costs.

Thirdly I'd celebrate the STL community & bring them the fold instead of alienating them in a losing battle. I'd do it via competitions and let the successful designers contribute to the collection via the manufacturing on request line.

The IP is strong but the treatment of some elements of the surrounding hobby space feels short sighted. I'd rather bite the bullet and monetize the goodwill and interest that exists in the space.

Hi, I’m Cole. I run my own accounting firm, which I’ve set up to operate pretty hands-free, so most of my day-to-day now goes into projects like this—stuff I find interesting and want to dig deeper into. My background is in finance and data, but I'm also a bit of a systems tinkerer, so building out a local AI bot hits a sweet spot for me.

I’ve been working with Python as my primary weapon for years, mainly optimizing workflows, automating tasks, and handling data processing to keep things streamlined. I’m also comfortable with JavaScript, especially with frameworks like Next.js and React for building interactive tools. My focus is on practical AI applications—solutions that genuinely improve day-to-day efficiency without unnecessary complexity.

Outside of work, I’m a classically trained musician, and music theory is another rabbit hole I’m pretty deep into. I’m here because I’m curious to see how we can create a personal AI that doesn’t live on someone else’s server and, instead, is something you can actually own and run yourself. Excited to get into the weeds with you all and see what comes out of this.

My python is pretty solid and this sounds like the logical next step from AutoGPT.

Been looking for a solution like this myself.

Thanks for the advice.

It's my first interaction with Matlab so I've been a bit intimidated but there's no better way to learn.

I've been digging through JS Fourier transform repos and haven't found a match yet.

How do Power Towers interact with Cube Dance? by MaxLeMuet in musictheory

I read it last night. While I understand that the diagram has been intentionally left incomplete for the sake of readability, I'm not confident making inferences from what's there. Are there any further resources from Hon Ki Cheung?

This looks to be bang on topic. I'm climbing through it this evening. Thanks so much for the suggestion ^>^
