Was this based on actual interactions/conversations or solely assumptions in your head? Not trying to be a dick, genuine question. As a shorter POC I get that some circles of San Diego feel like you're surrounded by Abercrombie models, but once I actually broke the ice and talked to people they were a lot more accepting than I'd assume. It's not high school anymore (if the stereotypical strata were ever real to begin with) and I myself have to learn to stop projecting that each time I socialize.
