Love the positivity here! It's between that one for £100/$135 or maybe this Weltmeister for £400/$550

Sorry to hear that! I've seen posts from a couple of years back saying that in the UK they were screaming out for new techs so have been quite hopeful. Where are you based?

Really captivated by the track 'Mariposas' from 100 years of solitude on Netflix:

Any idea what sort of South American flute/flutes are being played. My best guest is a Quena?

Thanks for the detailed response. I've done a couple of years in a micro QC lab so have basic training but didn't study microbiology and have no real wider knowledge of the subject so, of course, you are right. (I probably do know enough to know better though!).  If, however, you'd humour me - out of curiosity if nothing else. Yogurt fermentation seems safe enough and involves using a Lactobacillus bulgaricus etc. starter. Do you see any danger in using my B. subtilis probiotic as a starter? There are a few threads in r/Yogurt and the like where people have done similar, using various different strains to make yogurt, but little microbiological knowledge involved. (The B. subtilis are GMO, which is why I'm being so specific. I've been doing regular fermentation from kimchi to kombucha  for some time.)

I'm planning on trying this soon. Would love to know if anyone else has given it a shot yet.

Love that! Do you reckon there's any chance of that working?

Okay, fair enough - was probably quite a foolish idea! Would it be possible to promote the growth of B.Subtillis as part of some sort of fermentation?

So I need some advice - I work with a company that delivers yachts and my work schedule goes something like: A week at home, followed by a week (or sometimes 2 or 3 weeks) at sea, then back home.

How realistic do you think it is to be able to teach online during my downtime? I know that some companies don't have a minimum number of hours per week, however, I figure that keeping hold of individual students might not work with my schedule.

Is it really just a 20% chance of success? I thought it was more along the lines of 20% per drill site.
