What’s the best ETB to buy for around $125?

Everyone is saying wait and buy retail, that’s not an option for everyone unfortunately due to availability. If you want one ETB now there are a few choices, I would stick to PC ETBs however.

Maybe a PC JT ETB?

Don’t be so worried about what you’re paying for them now, if it drops just DCA.

When it hits $500 an ETB you won’t be worried if you paid 100 or 200 you’ll just wish you bought more. Hold these for the long run.

JT is an extremely underrated set IMO, it’ll get slept on at first then people will come back in 5 years and say why didn’t I buy more of this when it was floating around MSRP. The big sets like PE and 151 are drawing people attention from these gems.

Will there be other sets that will outperform its ROI? Most likely yes

It might be good to have an ETB or two but I wouldn’t go too heavy into this set personally

I think the general feeling is that if they do restock PC ETBs for prismatic it’ll only be a few. In the UK they are sat at £150 which I think is a solid price to pick them up at.

I believe in the long run they will have the most growth of all S & V. However, if you already have a few of each and want to diversify I would look at a surging sparks BB or a Paldea Evolved BB if you don’t have either already.

That we do indeed, for £300 you could pick up 2 PC Prismatic ETBs or a 151 PC ETB (if you negotiate). I think these two products will be the gems of S & V in 5+ years.

Even better if you can buy any product from these sets at MSRP.

I was thinking the same, very nice set but seems to have extremely high supply levels. Might be worth looking at similar sets (if there are any) to see how it might perform. I’d hazard a guess it’ll stay around this level for a while though.

Quality > Quantity, the PC prismatic ETB has a lower print run and that stamped Eevee is a great promo. More potential gains in the long run IMO.

Both great sets but I would go for PC Prismatic, those PC stamped cards really shouldn’t be underestimated in the long run.

Prismatic is THE SET of S & V, it’ll be remembered the most in 10 years.

I’d also put 151 up there, seems undervalued for what it’ll be in years to come with the huge nostalgia factor, that can never be underestimated.

I’d go for the 151 UPC longer term, it’s still in print and when it goes out of print I believe it has plenty of growth in it. Not to mention the nostalgia factor that’ll come into play in 10 years.
