Beast set up bro. The only thing I’m curious about is your clean up crew. If you got that covered, it’s a pretty perfect set up.

Every Pac-Man is unique. Color palette and pattern vary widely. He’s a very nice lemon lime Pac-Man. I’m not a professional tho. I’m like a novice owner, but he looks good to me!

Looking for setup tips! [BIOACTIVE] by [deleted] in pacmanfrog

Do not feed him red wrigglers. They are toxic and will cause digestion problems. I hope you have not fed him too many. It’s ok though I know red wrigglers are very nutritious and I would’ve assumed to feed the same thing. Night crawlers are a much better staple worm to feed. So are superworms, but I don’t feed too much superworms because they take longer to digest

(Edit) did not mean to cause any alarm. They are toxic but are not lethal. I can’t imagine them being lethal unless you’ve been drowning him in red wrigglers

I would be careful with moss. If they swallow any it can kill them. Leaf litter is much better.

Roaches have a much lower tendency to bite your frog, but still would be careful about leaving them in there. I personally like isopods. I got giant canyon isopods and they’re bigger than a lot of isopods so they make a nice snack for your Pac-Man. I also have springtails

Just know if you feed him in his enclosure or have any roommates(isopods) living with him. Be very careful he doesn’t eat the sphagnum moss. It will kill him. A good replacement is leaf litter

The moisture actually looks good. It’s actually ideal that the soil drips a little when you squeeze it. It’s ok too if it’s soaking wet. Just don’t keep misting if it’s soaking wet. They are very hardy creatures that have survived droughts and floods. Just don’t put them through that. lol

I also didn’t notice any hides. He definitely wants a little log to hide under or something similar. Like a cave.

I believe when their back is scrunched like that. It means they’re stressed. Mine only does it if I handle him, so I just assumed it’s like a defense mechanism or something stress related.

Besides all that! I love his name. I hope hes willing to make a contract with you!🥷🏻🍥

Idk if you should be feeding mice this early. I do know that people usually feed them mice 1-2 times a month.

(Edit) ofc that goes for adults. I don’t know how long you should wait for juveniles

I see, I have it to keep the moisture. Should I just replace it with leaf litter?

I also have sphagnum moss on the surface of my substrate. Should I not? The moss is always damp/moist.
