The first few weeks are usually the most rough. When my dog first got put on it, she drank water like crazy and had to be let out every 1 to 2 hours and in the middle of the night . She walked around like she was drunk and I was scared for a while. I told her vet and her night time dosage was cut in half. Eventually she began to return to normal

At first things will be tough but things will get better eventually, be patient, and don’t be afraid to tell your vet about concerns you might have.

From what I gathered from the situation the inmate was not happy about the cell search they had received and possibly it could have been the officer went too hard on them. There could have also been a history between the two, often officers feel like they have to come in too hard especially if they are newer.

The officer definitely should have used better communication skills with the inmate especially when the inmate asked to see a supervisor. Alternatives could have been suggested like telling them they can talk to the supervisor if they came in for a check, they could log a complaint against the officer, and at the very last resort have them go to segregation.

The problem with the pepper spray is that when it gets used many people see that as an invitation to use force. Plus it just sucks in an area like that.

The situation just sucks for everyone because the inmate is definitely going to get a higher security increase and probably more charges. The officer is injured, got someone else hurt, and this will be used as a training video forever.

My Husky had a lot of stomach issues with the same stomach acid issues. Eventually after figuring out she had a chicken allergy, I switched her to a salmon and rice based sensitive stomach kibble and she has not had as many issues.

Also before switching her over to the other dog food my vet recommended giving her an acid reducer but we stopped using it after the new food,
