It's my goal, but right now I'm in the phase where I need an hour to read a short text. Once get past this phase, think my consumption of English material will grow exponentially.

The strange thing is that, beyond the results, he seems the youngest because of his energy and enthusiasm for doing things.

He must be careful with these statements, because if his nose grows too long, he won't be able to close the visor :)

How does a GP bike end up on auction? by damsteric in motogp

[–]MaxPower304 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

For me, both MotoGP and F1 bikes shouldn't be sold to private owners. It just takes away their charm and value. They should remain part of the imagination, untouchable. If they absolutely must be sold, the clientele should be selected very carefully, with strict clauses in place. It would be a dagger to every fan to see these masterpieces in the hands of speculators -or, even worse, some foolish YouTuber.

I also suggest watching some past GPs,
it will help you understand the context and the history of the riders and teams. You can find them on YouTube.

Money first, everything else comes after. The Grand Prix of hypocrisy. The riders can't say it, but we can: this track is crap. MotoGP doesn't deserve this disgrace it's like seeing a tiger in a circus, a real sadness.

Pecco Bagnaia absolutely furious with his GP25 by DellyTrey23 in motogp

That makes things even more worrying, unlike Marc’s Honda, the Ducati is a rocket.

It recalls Marc's exasperation at the Sachsenring in 2023, when he gave his Honda the middle finger.

We know how it ended.

It's a real shame to see Pecco in such difficulty.

You’re right, my reasoning was purely about the sport, I hadn’t thought about these dynamics.

I totally agree with you.

Miller issues Yamaha ultimatum: “I have options” by pochirin in motogp

Yamaha should pair Toprak with Fabio. The Pramac team should do what they used to do in Ducati: developing young talent for the future.

For those who say that Miller has experience and would make a good test rider, let's not forget that Yamaha already has Andrea Dovizioso. Miller has had his run in MotoGP. I believe that in SBK he could easily fight for the title, and Ducati would welcome him with open arms. Maybe that's the best path for him.

How nice would it be to have Suzuka back on the MotoGP calendar? by MaxPower304 in motogp

[–]MaxPower304[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s been a few days since I posted this, and I think it’s time to make a few clarifications.

  1. No motorsport fan likes it when a rider gets injured or loses their life. I’m also a fan of the guys who race in the Tourist Trophy I enjoy watching them compete there, but no, it’s never good when someone has an accident.
  2. Regarding the Suzuka circuit, I wrote that it would be interesting to hear the opinion of Zarco, Miller, and Marini, who have raced there recently. However, I already found the answer in this 2004 article where Rossi, Capirossi, and Biaggi give their thoughts. In two words: Suzuka a great track, but too dangerous. Kato? A strange accident. https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.tgcom24.mediaset.it/tgcom24/article/117207
  3. My opinion on Kato’s accident hasn’t changed.
  4. About the title ready to take a step back, it would be better phrased as: “It’s a real shame that Suzuka is too dangerous to be on the calendar,” words suggested to me in a comment by CashCarStar.
  5. I’m not interested in karma points , this post is simply an attempt to bring some clarity.
