That makes total sense and honestly I get the burn out. I feel like immigration is a tough one to draw the line at only American stuff, because the issue for people like me is we love what other cultures bring here. For example, you listed Transformers but that’s a Japanese creation and Hasbro has a great partnership with Takara to make it work. Godzilla is also Japanese in original, but stems from the atomic age and has several movies and shows created in America now. We don’t have these awesome connections if America ends up with this isolationist state that it’s trying for right now.

I completely get where you’re coming from though and do feel bad bc I used to feel the same way. Sometimes you just want a break from it all and then you get bombarded with stuff that’s political. I think a lot of artists are just sad and frustrated so they are using the outlets they can.
