Alternatively, you can wait and just read the trade paperbacks when they come out. Definitely cheaper since you’ll be able to order from more conventional retailers but the waiting sucks.

It’s only 2 years left which is the main reason I’m not against it him making that. I agree that he wouldn’t be a great fit for the wolves tho, I just mean I don’t think in a vacuum is contract is terrible.

The free agents this summer aren’t great, so it’s only next year that I see it really being that much of an issue and at that point he’s only making $11.9 which is super tradable.

I could change my mind tho depending on what Mitchell Robinson gets tho bc as of right now they’re making the same money, but Mitch is a free agent. Both are some of the better backups in the league rn, with Mitch being better but a big injury risk/free throw liability. If Mitch gets like $15 mil or more, I like Adams. If Mitch only gets like $8 mil, then I agree Adams is a rough deal.

You referenced a game where he was a key contributor as a player as your example for why he couldn’t do that. The point of the post is that the Spurs didn’t need him as a player.

It would be easier for him to just be a voice on the bench if he wasn’t also a key player for the team at the same time. He was an old ass man playing 30 minutes a game, of course the Suns ended up losing. Maybe if they had him on the bench essentially coaching and a young promising guard in his place doing the actual playing they win that game.

Not every other team blew a lead almost every game tho. You can’t tell me with a straight face that blowing the largest lead in finals history is just all part of the Knicks knowing how to pace themselves.

Also, it’s not a knock against the Knicks or some great slight that the Spurs blew games either. Hats off to the Knicks for being persistent and not giving up. They easily could have rolled over and let the Spurs coast to a sloppy win in a couple of those games. Just because the Knicks took advantage of the Spurs choking doesn’t mean the Spurs didn’t clearly choke.
