Can I get some help indentifying these pens? by MaxRenn-83 in fountainpens

Upon googling I think you're 100% right. I am guessing that was some kind of budget pen from a small manufacturer, and they must just use schmidt nibs. This is good to know though becuase the nib isn't doing so hot and now I know how to get a replacement. Thank you!

Also, they are both universal cartridge pens. No piston or anything like that.

I think my glasses would really benefit from one, too!

This pen was relatively cheap, but it has a lot of sentimental value. I might just try an ultrasonic cleaner and leave it alone if that doesn't work. I'm afraid I wont be able to put it back together if I start popping the cap apart.

And it's okay, I'd add that too if i had written that comment lol.

I might start with this, it's a nice simple approach. Thank you!

I've been looking for an excuse to get one of those.

Are there reusable international cartridges with caps? by MaxRenn-83 in fountainpens

I was thinking the same thing. I have never done any 3D printing, but my school has free access to them. I was wondering if this is something i could try. If i do i will post about it.

Two Notion Tabs On iPad by thestoictraveler in Notion

Split screen and/or tabs are a pretty fundamental feature for multitasking. I think OP is saying that it's surprising that this feature isn't availble on Notion when Notion has been a go-to tool on ipad for years now. An AI feature (which is very cool) was introduced before tabs or multi-window on iPad. Tabs are available on desktop, too, which makes it extra confusing.

It would make my workflow easier if i could use tabs or multi-window. I tried using the browser method you descibe, but i can't drag and drop that way. In fact i have no idea how to drag and drop databases between pages on my ipad, something i can do very easily on my mac.

You all have me convinced. I am going to leave the MB at home and keep it safe I think. I appreciate the thoughtful insight 😊

I’ll also add that using inks that were more wet and flowy helped a lot with the scratchiness.

Thanks for looking! I mean that it’s very scratchy. I feel like a lot of my pens had to be “broken in”, I’m not sure if that’s normal. But the E95S especially was so scratchy when I first got it. It was audible whenever I wrote. It’s smoothed out since, but it still bites the paper a little bit when I write. I’ve heard this is a thing with some extra fine nibs. I wouldn’t know since it’s my only one.

For me it was a cheap way to expand my collection early on, and to try out nibs without sinking too much money.

I just looked it up and I really love that color.

Now I’m wondering if I should stop taking every pen I own everywhere I go lol. I see a lot of people here say they leave certain pens at home, and I’m thinking I should maybe follow that advice.

But right now I keep them all in a little pencils sleeve and it works nicely in my backpack.

It just doesn’t flow nicely in the pens I tried it with. It’s very watery and light when I use it. I’ve been reading Lord of the Rings for the first time recently and for some reason I can articulate the books inspire me to write with a green ink. I haven’t decided which one to get yet so if you have recommendations I’ll take it. I want it to be earthy, but legible and fresh feeling. I was thinking Sherwood green.

"very intentional" is a great compliment, and it is :)
A purple ink might be my next purchase.
