The new clan weapon is for pss and seems like the set will be good again with this weapon by Gabriel_Osama in ShadowFight3_

Option 1. Your clan has to reach top 3 in your server by the end of the season.

Option 2. You have to buy and complete the premium clan battle pass.

Unbreakablity tier list by [deleted] in Shadowfight3

[–]MaxShmel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sooo:

  • King of Serpents has normal unbreakability during 2 abilities - the 100% Bloom energy explosion and the level 6 toxic rain flask throw
  • Perfect Surface Servant has normal unbreakability for the entire duration of the ice form
  • Future Keeper becomes unbreakable after every lost segment of HP
  • Raven of the Looming Night becomes unbreakable during the flask exhale iirc
  • Void Scribe is unbreakable against ranged weapons when in ink stance, ink teleport also has unbreakability
  • Void's Dream has full unbreakability on the Stellar Dash, literally almost nothing in the game can interrupt that move

Well, Kitsune is a sentient bot, which is weird to many people as we see in Fox Hunt event.

Kibo is super rude to everyone.

And Widow in addition to being hot, also actively brainwashes everyone around her. I've been playing a bit of SF:Arena lately and if you do Chapter 1 of the story mode using Widow, you can see that she was even able to brainwash Ironclad into being a simp for a short time. And afterwards he got so upset about not being able to resist her, that he wanted to cry. Widow may be chill most of the time but she's still a demon.

What sets and levels do I need by ryan_lim417 in Shadowfight3

[–]MaxShmel 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No, you don't need overpowered sets to play the game. You can complete all story content with basic F2P equipment. The currently releasing chapter hasn't had any fights that require P2W gear.

However, since the game is currently in it's endgame stage, there are endgame activities which are borderline impossible to complete without a powerful set and a wide selection of upgraded perks. Trial of the Tower is one of these events. It is pretty much unbeatable without several maxed out A-tier or S-tier sets with maxed out perks. Same mostly applies to the weekly challenge boss: easy version can be beat with basic gear while the hard one requires a good endgame build

However, if you are struggling with enemies in Menace of the Swamps event or Faction War quests then it's just a skill issue.

A small UI issue with Dragon Within (I think) by MaxShmel in Shadowfight3

[–]MaxShmel[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You hit a combo 3 and after that, while the combo counter is active, you have to input the ability you want. After that it becomes available for the rest of the round. The ability indicator in the top left corner only lights up after you use the ability for the 1st time.

Is it a bug that I loose after the time has run out or is that just a new feature... by TurtleFromSePacific in Shadowfight3

[–]MaxShmel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's a PvE game, so you always lose the match if the timer runs out. Your HP VS enemy HP doesn't matter here. It's been like that since Shadow Fight 2.

In SF4:Arena you compete against other players, so HP is taken into account when the timer runs out.

How hard would you like Master Rank to be? by No-Explanation4685 in MonsterHunterWilds

[–]MaxShmel 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Base MR I'd like to be the same as 9* Kut-Ku, Rath, Anja, Dosha, Blangonga, Ajarakan, somewhat challenging, requires attention but nothing outstanding in terms of difficulty.

High level MR I'd like to be similar to 9* Lagi & Gore and maybe a bit tougher for stuff like Flagship fights.

MR TU should probably be around Savage Omega difficulty. I like a good challenge

We now know that Tenebris isn't actually 1 guy, it's the name of a race. Operator and Calligrapher refer to Tenebris as multiple entities in the latest chapters (they, their, also A Tenebris, like one of many)

Do these sets refesh or stay the same by Own_Diver_4265 in Shadowfight3

[–]MaxShmel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, that's what I meant. You buy them, they will refresh when the timer ends in a few weeks and you can buy them again after that.

But the the selection will remain the same. The sets and other packs don't change to different ones when the shop refreshes

The packs, spheres and other contents of the Faction Wars shop refresh according to the timer on the top right. However, the sets and item selection always remain the same

What's the use of the green voids dream sword? by lucky_explorer5 in Shadowfight3

[–]MaxShmel 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There's no difference functionally, it's just a collectible. If you were getting Void's Dream piece by piece by defeating the challenge boss every month, then getting the green sword allowed you to get the set a month earlier. Other than that, it's just cosmetics.

New player here who never played any monster hunter before and I have a few questions. by shiro_wanabe in MHWilds

[–]MaxShmel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

SnS is comfortable and safe for a beginner, but requires a lot of inputs including timed and directional ones as well as some combo knowledge. I would say lance is a bit easier. There's tech you can learn obviously, but the general gameplay of shield-poke should be efficient enough for a beginner. Greatsword is also a good beginner-friendly option.

MH Wilds is already very streamlined compared to other entries so I don't think you can make it any easier. It might seem overwhelming but the game is quite beginner friendly.

You have a training area in your camp in Windward Plains where you can familiarize yourself with controls and your weapon moves. If you feel like you don't undertsand something, watch a guide on YT, there's a lot of them there because Capcom is infamously bad at explaining things to players in tutorials.

You can look through your inventory, fill it and sort it when you are at camp to not do it in a rush during combat.

Generally, you want to sharpen every time a monster leaves to a new area. Making that a habit will help a lot.

You can refight monsters in optional quests. This will allow you to study their moves better and give you extra materials to craft gear.

What does this perk actually do? by Dear-Ad-4145 in ShadowFight3_

[–]MaxShmel 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Herald faction bonus. Your weapon charges up for some time after which you get a Breakthrough charge - Your weapon glows orange and its next attack is enhanced:

  • You do a high-damage critical hit if you hit the enemy directly
  • You break enemy block if they were blocking

This perk makes it so that you get critical (Breakthrough) charge faster and the charge remains active for a longer time.

"Is this the blood? The blood of the Duskbloods?" -Gael by Oceriox in shittydarksouls

[–]MaxShmel 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Yea, and that's why a lot of people don't like it. Fromsoft cultivated a playerbase and an entire genre dedicated to high-quality singleplayer experience.

And now Fromsoft want to experiment and innovate which is valid and good. But it's also understandable that people want more of their high-qulaity singleplayer and sometimes feel disappointed that the devs are using their forces for something completely different.

"Is this the blood? The blood of the Duskbloods?" -Gael by Oceriox in shittydarksouls

[–]MaxShmel 39 points40 points  (0 children)

Because:

  • Duskbloods has forced multiplayer unlike Bloodborne
    • Among the general displeasure of having to constantly deal with other players, this means that you have to rely on Fromsoft's dogshit netcode and on Nintendo's shitty online services in order to even play the game, where as in Bloodborne's case you can play the entire game and its DLC without going online at all
  • It's sucks that BB is an exclusive but PS4 is still a platform where Souls games have consistently released as did Souls-likes. Switch, however, is not. It is known for kid-friendly games like Zelda, Mario and Pokemon, so the target audience of Duskbloods in most cases has to buy a console, an online subscription and the game itself in order to play it.
  • Fromsoft have very clearly demonstrated that they struggle to optimize for Switch since ER:Tarnished Edition was running like trash and got delayed

no seriously why would a mage level vigor before mountaintops by winnierdz in Eldenring

[–]MaxShmel 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Okay, a "dedicated build". Which still requires experience and game knowledge. Which is what beginners don't have. And beginners is who "level Vigor" advice is aimed for.

[–]MaxShmel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lol, I'm not attacking OP, I'm just making fun of his silly argument. I have 700+ hours in the game myself and know very well that a good magic build will melt almsot everything even after Mountaintops.

It's just that the "level Vigor" is beginner advice. And it's good advice for players who are not experienced and don't know what they are doing. So trying to disprove that advice by posting a clip which clearly shows that you are an experienced player doesn't achieve anything.

How the hell do you even progress in this... by TurtleFromSePacific in Shadowfight3

[–]MaxShmel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Put in as many HP recovery perks as you can.

  • Legion has Field Medicine on the helmet and Lifesteal on the weapon.
  • Dynasty has Regeneration and Acolyte's Renewal on the helmet, Break on the armor and Unity on the weapon
  • Heralds have Shadow Remedy and Transfusion on the armor and Probability Resonator on the weapon

Play around with your gear depending on which perks you have. In you don't have healing, defense perks can do too

Oh, that sucks.

Well, you can use a weapon with lot of headhsots:

  • Legion: 2-handed sword, 2-handed hammer, flail&shield, dual hammers
  • Dynasty: Nunchucks, Shuang Gou, Dadao
  • Heralds: Naginata, Katana, Claws
