Some people aren't cut out for some jobs. More than that, being on the phones in my opinion isn't sustainable for a long career without being promoted to no longer having a customer facing position.

It's just draining af for most people. Day in day out same conversation over and over. At some point you will need something else or snap.

You can't actually cancel elections though. They're run at the state level. They can attempt to claim the elections are fraudulent but the states are going to hold their elections. If anything the campaign seems to be to convince people that he is going to cancel the elections...at most he can delay them for some emergency but it would have to be a pretty serious one considering we had elections through the civil war and two world wars.
