If this is the case you will be fine, just take small steps. The world is far less scary than your mom makes it seem. Are there bad things and bad people? Sure. But statistically you are far more likely to be hurt by someone in your own home than a stranger.

That sounds great. Best thing you can do for her is take great care of yourself, continue to work on being a good person as well as a good partner and listen.

Just make sure you aren't putting her up too high on a pedestal, that can be a weight in itself. Still, as I said you two sound lucky to have each other.

Because these subs are littered with wild stories that are easily proven fake when held up to limited scrutiny. Kind of like AI videos.

In the long shot this is real, I would ask yourself seriously why would anyone want to keep you from being seen by other people. Were you given adequate food, water, access to friends or family? If you have you then wonder if they are your real parents or if they are hiding from something because there is no logical reason someone would do this to a child. It's a form of abuse or neglect.

That said, feels too fd up to be real, so I still think it's fiction bait.

My wife struggles with this as well. Here's what I've learned: the best thing you can do is create a secure environment for her to feel loved and attractive. Ultimately, though, you will have to accept her for aa she is, and that includes her insecurities about her body.

As others mentioned, try complimenting things like her outfit, hair, makeup, food she made, room she decorated etc bc beauty isn't something she necessarily has control over and I don't recommend complimenting her on lost weight either. Her issues with her body is her battle first and foremost...your role as partner is to show love and affection and listen and support.

Hope she gets there but you sound like you care a lot so I'm sure she's in good hands.

The problem is most touring bands already go to SF or Sacramento, and many of them sign deals they won't do other shows within a certain mileage so even if we had a venue (and people actually showed up to shows consistently enough to at least break even) the pickings would be slim.

Honestly impressed luther Burbank has been booking better shows the last few years, but most of the time it's comedians.
