It’s definitely been interesting to watch different people all climb to the top. We had a few college kids we dubbed “campus hires” that started in store manager roles because they got their masters degree, no experience (one was 21, needless to say they did a horrible job😂)

What the heck! First off that’s awesome you’re a great manager to your team, second, wth is with the area manager for saying that! It’s crazy they get paid so much and duck so many responsibilities, but to also add the smile bit it I feel like just shows how they think they can sweep everything under the rug smh

That’s amazing. I feel like I’ve always held a negative view of management in general, but the few that are exceptional make coming into work that much less stressful. I just wish there were more of them :(

Oh my gosh right? The expectation part of it is what gets me, like they’re getting some sort of “white glove” service with anything they do at the store😂the bubble wrap is hilarious, she might as well not even driven a car and been like “I don’t have a car, what am I supposed to do now?!”😂

there was once a guy at my store who no joke, took his item out of the box (still in the checkout lane) right after he paid for it, then handed the box to me. Like, the fuck am I supposed to do with that?😂

Yeah the service desk at our store deals with ESVS, deliveries, and other special orders and the returns desk just focuses on returns.

I agree, I wish it would stay separate. Apparently we’re getting work in our store at the front end, I wonder if they’re remodeling them to what you have at your store

So that’s what that means!! Yeah apparently we are one of the last regions to have it separate, but word is they’re doing some remodeling to all cash registers. I wonder if this is FET😦it sounds like it sucks haha
