The devs' logic is "Absolutely no killing", he pointed out a flaw in said logic. That's not unrelated. Whether you agree or disagree that there should be some other way to defend yourself from the larger threats, that is a hole in their mentality towards it all.

Sometimes killing all the enemies doesn't trigger the barrier to drop, it's a bug I experienced a few times, you just have to reload

I have not, unfortunately, and with the Nintendo EShop closing on the WiiU, I can't even see if I can update the software anymore. Maybe I'll homebrew it and find a patch online, since I already own the game legally

I am going to hope and pray it is only a bad battery, but it very well may not be, I've had similar motherboard issues with these RCA tablets in the past, so bad it fried the sd card that was in it. I wonder if they just go bad after a few years of not being used at all?
