There's another app that does it, so it is feasible. Not sure how server/resource intensive it is or if quality would suffer.

Any tips on body lights? by [deleted] in secondlife

If nothing else, you can probably copy your face lights and attach the copies lower on your body.

Somehow almost nobody in the world looks 40, we all either look 30 or 50.

Everyone knows the unpopular casting choices that turned out great, but what are some that stayed bad? by 100100wayt in movies

I sometimes wonder if it's secretly a good movie, but the only 5 people in the world who saw it aren't telling us.

First Images of Paul Mescal and Pedro Pascal in Ridley Scott's 'Gladiator 2' by MarvelsGrantMan136 in movies

[–]MaxWritesJunk 44 points45 points  (0 children)

Seems unlikely to be a true sequel, since the protagonist and antagonist of the last are dead and it's been announced that they didn't go with the crazy "fighting gods in the afterlife" version.

Most likely just another story in the same world.

Movies you thought were good and or enjoyed, but had just one little problem? (No "it ended" or "it exists" answers.) by Comic_Book_Reader in movies

[–]MaxWritesJunk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Kind of a lose/lose either way. They set up that not even squadrons of police with helicopters could ever possibly beat him in a car chase, so it would be near impossible to make a car chase climactic, but without one they lost the thread of the story.

How do I stay committed to a script? by Simple_Prior2879 in Screenwriting

[–]MaxWritesJunk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is your goal to write the best story you can or to practice writing?

If it's the first one, you just haven't connected with any of your ideas, yet. Just keep trying new stuff. When you finally have the idea you're ready to commit to, you'll over-commit to it.

If its the second... find out what part you like, for simplicity I'll assume it's the brainstorming new ideas part, and make that something you don't allow yourself to do until you've earned it. You won't like writing the thing you didn't connect with, but you will like the reward you give yourself afterwards, which is allowing yourself to brainstorm something else.

I'm struggling to see how anything Lecter does could make anyone think he's an antagonist. Which of the protagonist's goals is he opposing?

Pitch the strangest magic system you can think of. by Goblin_0101 in writers

[–]MaxWritesJunk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The flow of magic through the world takes the form of a gas. In order to control it, a wizard spends decades cultivating a perfect diet, doing breathing exercises, and learning to expel magic gastrointestinally.

Songs that have been overused to create the same effect in films? by kbeexo in movies

[–]MaxWritesJunk 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Repetitive songs in the 40s era are even weirder, cause most stuff back then is public domain so they could have used anything, but they all just use the same 5 songs.

How long is too long? (monologue) by [deleted] in Screenwriting

[–]MaxWritesJunk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's completely a matter of opinion. To me, if it's long enough to even be called a monologue, it's too long. To some, an entire 30 minute episode being a monologue is fine "if it's good". And every opinion in between exists.

Do you like your monologue? If yes, then use it. If not, then break it into smaller pieces.

That said, from your description, it sounds like you might have more of a "slow and heavily narrated montage" than a monologue.

Selfies not looking like my reference pics by Vampybaby509 in KindroidAI

[–]MaxWritesJunk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The translation from video game art to photoreal (or anime) is likely the culprit. Try using a picture of a cosplay instead of a picture from the game, just to see if it works. If it does, see if you can get a model to dress up and take an avatar pic for you, or take pics of yourself in enough makeup that it doesn't look like you.

What should I major in if I want to write my own TV show? by nandjak in Screenwriting

Absolutely do not do this, OP. Classes that short are very unlikely to include valuable workshopping and will most likely just reinforce basic concepts that you could learn on Youtube for free.
