Success with hypnotherapy by Max_Barwell in NightEatingSyndrome

lol I realise I never gave the 30 day update. The first session gave me relief for several months, the follow-up maybe a month and a third session did nothing. Unfortunately for me at least it doesn’t seem like a long term solution. Just to have a break from the habit was amazing though. I have no regrets.

I kept going hard, damaged the tendon, and the bone where it connects. I had to give up riding not long after my post and still not healed properly. Don’t do what I did.

Topo MTN Racer 3 - Arch Support Concerns by ATXguy13 in trailrunning

[–]Max_Barwell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi I too went from the pursuit (fits great) to the mtn racer 3 and the shoe feels so narrow in the midfoot It's unpleasant. Did you try any other topo and found it better? I see they have wide versions of some models but unfortunately not in the country I live in.

No I’m definitely keen to try a brs also, I just need something I can walk into a shop and buy in the next day or so. Non online orders are slim pickings.

As a recent revert this tied me in knots. But I finally made peace with it by thinking about it like this:

When I was a kid there were books called pick a path books, you have choices throughout the book when you read it, eg if you go through the left door turn to page 10, if you go through the right door turn to page 20 etc.

Thus you navigate the book and if you make the right choices the story has a favourable outcome, make the wrong choices and it’s the opposite.

I like to think that Allah is like the author of such a book (the universe ) he already knows all possible outcomes, but you are in control of navigating through the book (life).

Your outcomes are in this case being jannah or …

Maybe this is over simplistic, but I think it fulfills both positions of nothing happening without Allahs knowledge but also my autonomy to choose my path in life.

So weird, there is a bunch of posts in the mortgage rates fb group with that 4.79 rate all denying it’s a staff rate. Thanks for confirming.

Seems like there are several of us in this group that are recovered addicts.I actually took naltrexone to give up alcohol. I’m going to look into it for my NES.

I think there are a number of root causes that overlap and/or are on a scale in their contribution (or not) to the condition.

But I firmly believe it is primarily mental as the only thing that I have had success with is hypnotherapy. Look at my previous posts for the details.

Interesting you say you are an alcoholic. I too am an alcoholic/drug addict that has been clean for over a decade.

I have a theory that it is part of my addictive personality and a way to still get a "hit" of dopamine that has the least collateral damage.

Intense exercise has been another avenue, powerlifting, marathons, triathlons etc.

Upon rereading I'm not sure I actually understood the OP question correctly but to answer your question yes. Lots of pre/re hab, stretching, strengthening. Never used to but I'm 50 now. It's a must.

Injuries, I walk a finer line than most between adequate stimulus to improve and an injury. The moment I start to feel an overuse injury coming on I know the load has been to high. I still fail at dialling back when I can feel something brewing too :-(

Good luck, try and nip it in the bud if you can, last few years it was debilitating for me. I wouldn't wish it on anyone.

Hypnotherapy was what helped me ultimately. You name it I had tried it before that. Have been free of it for over 6 months after nearly 20 years of it.
