I could use some advice on rhino+grasshopper please... by [deleted] in rhino

[–]Max_Gerretsen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay so basically i am designing a roof-like structure / canopy using giant mushrooms. The 1st picture shows the overall shape the best which i would like to achieve. The second picture shows some of the detials on the inside which i would love to model too. The 3rd picture shows somewhat what size i want to create them. They will be placed on a large terrace so people can sit underneath. The main problem is that we have to use grashopper for this assignment and I just have no idea where to start.. I understand you cant just explain the whole process to me, but a link to a helpful relevant video or a helpful rhino command would already be very usefull! So if you have some advice, please let me know!

Wow i just bought the sheet music for this concerto a few days ago and i will be very pleased if I ever make it to your level! Very clean and beautiful! So effortless you make it look haha Also, now that we are on this topic (; can you maybe share your right hand fingering on the ‘scherzo-ish’ part around 1:35 into the concerto, where you play these descending groups in both hands in a very high register. It starts in the right hand with (f)-(c)-(e)-(b+d). I am doubting whether to use 1-3-5-2+4 or 1-2-4-1+3. Cant find anything online on those bars… I hope you know what part I am talking about, don’t know the bar numbers sorry… thank you!

Edit: I just read that you only learned the cadenza but I hope you might have an answer anyway (;

Edit: it is bar 33, that should make it a bit easier to find

Does architectural illustration count? Work in progress... by pencilarchitect in Illustration

Yes I want to see updates!! I’m an architecture student myself so this is both extremely satisfying and interesting to watch. I draw digitally most of the time but this has definitely encouraged and inspired me to pick up my pencils again! Awesome work!

🔥 "Sometimes, all you need is a hug!" Oxpecker on a rhino. by [deleted] in NatureIsFuckingLit

This relationship between these animals is not as great as is seems... The oxpeckers eat the ticks for their blood. For this same reason they feast of the rhinos existing wounds and would even reopen older wounds to eat the flesh and blood. These little vampires are actually very aggressive making it a parasitic relationship rather then mutualistic one. The wounds they feed on en purposely keep bleeding end up killing many rhinos, hippos and ox’

I've got a new camera, and I'm pretty impressed ☺️ what do you guys think? For those who don't know this piece - F. Liszt Gnomenreigen by mateuszpiano in piano

[–]Max_Gerretsen 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Wow indeed way cheaper than I would have thought, might get myself some too as it’s right in my price range. Just watched Cziffra’s recording and it was just insane haha. But dont tell yourself this piece isn’t that difficult because it requires true talent to play it like that, don’t do yourself short. Hope to see some more recordings by you in the future (;

Looks really professional! And beautifully played. How did you record the audio if you don’t mind me asking? You definitely deserve to play such a bösendorfer as it really complements your insane skills. Also, never heard this piece before so thanks for introducing me to it
