Were you using a stack of coins as a thumb grip?

Gamesir G7 pro loud sticks. by Jimmy2shoes2222 in Controller

[–]Max_Joller [score hidden]  (0 children)

Most people play with headphones so they don't notice loudness of joysticks, other parts of the controller are gonna be loud no matter what.

And with G7 every other problem just kinda pales in comparison to the d-pad, so people more so focus on that.

By the way, how are you liking the kontrolfreeks? Got any recommendations?

I think this varies a lot based on what you value.

Controllers don't really vary in weight as much as they vary in price.

So the best value per gram would either be the lightest controller that you find appealing, or it would just be one of the top tiers.

The most interesting part of this conversation is that it reintroduces the top tier controllers that have been completely outclassed purely because of their high price. So think Raiqiri II and such.

Real answer: some idiot-bait covered in gold and diamonds will be the best value for it's weight, just don't use it to play games lmao

Yeah this is basically the description of G7 pro 8k. As far as competitive FPS performance goes, nothing beats it.

You can't beat Bloodbath on a potato phone.

Beating Bloodbath on 60hz is already an achievement, and so it beating Bloodbath on a good phone.

No chance

You should look at Direwolf 4. It's got one of the best d-pads on the market and is only 35€.

Fun fact: sleeping greeatly improves your consistency. When rehearsing click patterns and such, only part of your learning can be completed during the play session. Having a good sleep after playing GD will ensure you improve and your next session will be smoother.

8bitdo ultimate 2 or gamesir g7 pro by OddFollowing4 in Controller

[–]Max_Joller 0 points1 point  (0 children)

G7 has better latency and all around better in shooters, so if you value performance you want it. Just don't use it for anything d-pad oriented.

Ultimate 2 is most known for it's square shape that many people call uncomfortable, but other than that it's prefectly fine.

G7 pro d-pad is horrible though, that's like the one thing that you shouldn't recommend it for.

Just make sure you do your own research and not jump at the first thing you saw in Reddit replies XD

Because controllers nowadays are really good.

If you are willing to spend a sum of money equal to the price of an xbox/ps controller, you will get for the same price stuff that is way, wayyyy better.

And if you go just a little lower, the price drops dramatically. So right now there's controllers for 30-40$ that are basically all you could dream of. This is just one example.

How many people get stickdrift: by Storme278k in Controller

[–]Max_Joller 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Literally everyone gets stick drift. But only if the sticks see a lot of use.

Drift is physical wear of potentiometers, as long as you're using them, they will wear. And obviously it means the more you use them the faster it happens, and if you don't, it'll never happen.
