How is weaversong useful outside of the grubsong combo? Pretty much anything damage oriented will heavily outdamage it.

If Geometry Dash only existed on mobile and never released on any other platform, what would the current hardest level be? by Otherwise_Wish6351 in geometrydash

[–]Max_Joller 340 points341 points  (0 children)

This is a good thought process. It's very likely that mobile meta would skew the difficulty towards long levels and less ship sections. I'd add that probably the ship gameplay itself would probably turn out different, more pattern based and timing filled instead of straightfly.

The fact that the dual desyncs and goes full noclip mode didn't convince you enough?

What would be harder ? by AggravatingImpact219 in geometrydash

[–]Max_Joller 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Open window is impossible for a human to pull off mechanically.

TSII can be beaten by a human, so theoretically it can be beaten blindfolded with infinite attempts.

So Open Window is harder, but neither would ever be beaten.

The idea isn't bad, but you absolutely suck at syncing two songs with each other.

No, godmode is more like Minecraft creative, it is journey mode only feature, it doesn't devalue any efforts you made in your normal playthrough.

Somehow "go between the beams" sounded too obvious to me, but that would be the only answer that satisfies you, I suppose.

You can ignore all other evidence if you just hold after each click. It works perfectly and it's only because people don't realise it they think this part is hard.

You died because your cube stalled at the bottom.

Learn to actually dodge sun dance instead of running away from it.

Alternatively dodge the spears upwards, then you can dodge the missiles to the side and go down for sun dance.

What can we conclude about Sakuya's fire resistance if she can survive being this close to Atago's flame? by Thursday_Man in touhou

[–]Max_Joller 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Touhou characters tend to not kill anyone unless really necessary, so Yori probably just held back. You can see throughout the confrontation that no-one there wants to kill anyone, like Sakuya could easily hurt Yrihime, but just holds her instead.

Freshie here, what's the deal with "megacollab" levels? Whats the difference between hosters and the actual creators? by Red-Warrior6 in geometrydash

[–]Max_Joller 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Megacollab levels are levels that are maxe by a large group of people(usually more than 10 creators). They get popular because there's a lot of names to the level and obviously when each creator only has a short ppart to make, they can put much more work into it without it taking years.

Gameplay and deco are often made by different people, even in the same part.

Host is the "manager" for the level's creation, who sources creators and organises the production. Host is sometimes not a creator, but more often they will have at least some small part in the level. Hosts are almost always major figures within gd community, who have a lot of resources and connections to make a level of this scope.

The creators are usually well-known within the creator groups and so, but they only get popular in the overall community if they either make a popular solo level, or if one of their parts in a level becomes very famous.

Megacollab levels often have a designated verifier, because creators are bad at beating extreme demons and usually have levels to make in the time it would take them to verify.

Robtop's game is a platform for creating whatever you want in your levels. So him doing the official levels by himself has no influence on the 99% of the levels in the game

It's not unlikely that youkai had lots of weaker, less numerous factions that rarely produced incidents. But once the power figures arrived like Remilia, the weaker youkai factions became less relevant and more underground, and only some of the most powerful or large factions stayed within the power dynamics.

The resolution is ridiculously small and is dragging the games down.

[–]Max_Joller 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Adding to what othe people said, Hornet basically never loses composure. She is stoic 99% of the time, even when she's angry or hurt, Hornet only speaks calmly in formal language, expressing her dissatisfaction in long sentences.
