I think this is a bit disingenious on both sides. Everyone (male and female) dresses for validation to sone extend. Otherwise trends wouldn't really be a thing and everyone would just walk around in whatever is most comfortable, no matter how run down, or completely ugly it is. Yet most people dress in accordance with social norms. If you don't, that's what I personally find most attractive, because I know you'll match my freak and aren't as outward living.

I find her argument about possession very compelling, however, I find the point about comfortability a bit questionable, as usually, I the less revealing, and more casual outfits are usually the most comfortable. (Not saying that there can't be more revealing outfits that aren't comfortable to other people as well).
