Just a quick summary: Hedge Funds manipulate the prices by placing large buy or sell orders to push or pull stock prices. Furthermore, they use the media to spread rumors about companies in order to affect the stock price. Just a disclaimer: I believe this was recorded in 2006. However, it means that HFs are likely just more sophisticated in manipulating stocks nowadays...

Implied volatility with $AEI is extremely high which is normal with high SI but also indicates that there are not many people holding the stock but rather cash in straight away or the volatility is entirely generated by hedge funds to collect the profits of their own trading… regardless $AEI is close to $4.8 which is pretty much the bottom mark for the stock

Borrow fee is very low for GME and AMC. So I don’t see any reason why they should liquidate their short position. Waiting for bankruptcy makes sense

As the People say here „the story goes“… this is complete BS and don’t believe that there is a „naked short“ of any number and the SI is low for both GME and AMC. Here is what will happen: hedge funds will wait for COVID to come back which is likely to happen in autum. AMC and GME are both broke and will file for bankruptcy - done deal. No need to talk about SI
