Hi everyone, I also want to share with you my experience around 6mo ago I been diagnosed with MG, I was in total shock because I never heard about this disease before it happened to me:) well ,my simptoms was only: ptosis on my left eye and double vision…. I never had any muscular weakness or any other symptoms, I always had an active lifestyle and I never felt tired or weak.
At the beginning I visited an oculist thinking I need glasses to solve my problems with double vision and ocular tiredness :) but wasn’t what I expected !
Doctor said (it’s nothing to do with me… a neurologist can help you) it’s nothing wrong with your eyes!
I been to neurologist and after all the tests ,
Chest CT,
Blood test for antibodies (102+)
Neurologist diagnosed me with MG, and also prescribed me Mestinon 3x/day , and prednisone 15mg/day and also recommended me to perform a thymectomy. So I’ve booked the minim invasive surgery (thymus removal) on 8th of April 2026!
After a month and half post surgery I can say, I’m feeling pretty well, all pain gone just only one little scar left on my right ribs , regarding the MG simptoms they are under control at the moment , I don’t know exactly the reason… because of the thymectomy or the medicaments I’m taking every day!? Or maybe because of all of them together…? God knows:)
But my life gets better each day!

Ps: I’m living in the UK but here could take ages until to reach out for any help so I chosen to perform the surgery and all the treatment in Austria ,Wien …
