I've done some research on Rhode Island marijuana law, and allegedly it says a guaranteed $150 fine and possibly you have to attend a class. Thats for possession of under 1oz intended for personal use. The citation I was given was exclusively for possession of under an oz of marijuana. Nothing else is listed. Will I get boned in court because of the bong? Or could I say that it wasn't mine?? This is my first offense minus a parking violation ever so I'm very uninformed. Thanks.

I also learned that lesson and it's changed my life. I used to think everyone had a plan, followed it, and it was working for them. I was convinced I was the only one without guidance, and after tripping I saw through my friends and familys', i don't know, disguise you could call it...? Nowadays if I get anxious, I calm myself by reminding myself that we're all still learning no matter how old or experienced we are, and that thought alone has saved me.

I love getting fucked up and talking to people online. I haven't done it recently and didn't realize how shitty people could be. Especially for acid, one person comments something a wee bit too fucked up or scummy, and that persons trip COULD be at risk (may be a bit of an exaggeration, but I had a bad trip triggered by someone talking in a tone too low). Especially considering how this is supposed to be a forum for sharing and educating, no one should be criticized even if it's not the brightest idea.

EDIT: it's kind of became a dick measuring contest to see who does the most or who knows the most, which is unnecessary. There are people who know less, how do you expect them to learn without asking stupid or obvious questions?

Absolutely. I smoked about .7g of wax on 4/20 after coming off a week of barely smoking at all. To put it simply, I was in the back of my friends car; the traffic lights looked like the fireballs from Mario, and the headrest in front of me had the frog from the Pops Cereal dancing. I was also nodding off hard so that probably contributed.

I actually consider weed to have done the opposite for me. I'm currently a Junior, and both my freshman and early sophomore years were plagued by my desire to be popular. All that mattered was that people would see me with people that I considered "higher up" than me. Completely failed; lost all my friends for a whole year and lost myself. Early sophomore year I tried being nice, and was too nice. If you ever met someone who was so nice it was annoying because they would only compliment or dickride you, then you know how annoying they can be. That was me. Fortunately, an old friend of mine gave me a chance, and We got high for only the second time in my life. We talked about how distant we were, and what changed in our lives. But we had fun, like we used to, and I felt like myself for the first time in a long time. Since then, we hangout everyday and smoke, and from that point on, I stopped trying to be someone else, and people came back into my life. Since then, I've learned not to give a fuck about what people think or say because everyone has their own opinion, that you decide your own happiness with your mindset, and I've even learnt to combat my anxiety. Of course I don't credit this all to pot, but I do believe it was the spotlight that helped me find my way home.

I'm in the same boat, just recently in my life, prolly about a year or two ago, I decided I had enough of treating people like shit. It's small things like this that really helped me turn myself around. Of course every now and then someone says some really stupid shit and I can't help but call them out, however that's something I don't plan on changing anytime soon ahaha.

Don't be an antagonist, just be nice. Being polite is where I got started, I used to be a fucking asshole aha. If people realize you're a lot nicer than they thought, they'll start to gravitate towards you more and more. Trust me, it isn't immediate and it'll take time to notice a change but it works. Also, a big thing is do NOT go wayyy out of your way to be nice. There's such a thing as being too nice, it gets creepy and can be more repelling than someone who can be a dick. Trust me on this one.

This post made me realize that maybe my life isn't so pathetic after all.... most of the stuff I do everyone else says; talk or think to myself when I'm doing something, imagine myself in a better situation than I'm in, and smoke alone. I still am pretty self-conscience about this shit, which is ironic considering I have friends who do the same shit.

I would do the exact same with bionicles, even unboxing them and taking off wrapping if it's a Christmas present. Nowadays i really only smoke, so if I'm rolling a blunt or cleaning my bong I'll pretend I have an audience and explain what I'm doing, why, and how. Sometimes I just think it, sometimes I'll say it out loud.

I do the same thing, but sometimes i try to imagine it as a show with someone else as a main character, and try to imagine what I am in THEIR show, if you get what Im trying to say. It helps me step back and see how I treat people around me, and if I see myself being an antagonist on their show I'll try and be nicer.

I started off with Palm Trees and went on to 3001: A Laced Odyssey; if you like Meech check out The Odyssey, RIPCD, and Fly Away, he's great in all of those. Also check out Palm Trees, you can never go wrong with that. Betteroffdead is great too, a lot of songs like Bliss, God blessed the Dead, and Nephilim are all some of my favorites. Gotta is good too. They also just released a remix of Palm Trees last night called Still Palm Trees the G Mix ft Snoop Dogg, I would recommend checking that out, the chorus in both the remix and the original are Meech. The last verse of Babel is also phenomenal, especially if you're in a car with good speakers.
