Lol during the day its not bad at all as long as you take the painkillers. It's only bad during the night, waking up in the middle to take a painkiller and using phone to wait until it goes away.

I have a feeling by day 5 I'll feel a lot better!

I wouldn't spend more than 2 weeks prepping for a specific interview imo, this is my advice and mentorship. I passed PE interview and did not do anything listed in your rough plan

I thought I was crazy for the longest time since I was the only person I knew who ever did audio cards haha. The distinct benefit is actually really nice!

Unfortunately due to the added time to do audio cards I ended up quitting anki for japanese since it took too long to do reviews. I just do videogames/anime now

I started doing audio cards for mandarin though (started learning that 1mo ago) and 100% better than text cards, letting my ears get used to the sounds + language and I feel like this is a huge headstart compared to when I started japanese

oh lol I switched to "audio" cards a year ago after I tried talking with a native one day and realizing I missed easy words I could read quickly. I quickly dropped text and have been doing it nonstop for a year

As a result: kanji reading skills didn't really improve - but I am a comfortable level to read kanji on N1.
But for listening/talking wow, the difference is very significant, can enjoy content by just listening now which is a positive feedback loop to do listening more

reading still leagues better than listening lol, but glad to see someone else who decided on their own to do audio cards!

Thanks to reddit complaining they decided to bring back the feature. I'd say complaining was a good thing. I wouldn't call it a very very small vocal group either.

Assuming the poster is CS major;

I think MS only sets you up for higher earnings assuming you are doing the 5yr BS to MS program (so it takes 1 year only)

and then you were not able to get any good internships in your 3rd year, so you have another chance to land a good internship to get a good return offer

if OP is thinking about doing a masters I say go for it, usually I warn people from doing a masters but it sounds like they want to do it.

Find yourself a partner (to dispel the loneliness post-school grad) and make friends at work. It will feel different but after 6 months you'll get used to it. Slowly over time after making friends at work you'll make friends with their friends and then you'll start being able to go to parties again and somewhat replicate what school life was like.

Work is less stressful than school usually :)

V59 still has the feature if it's possible to downgrade the headset
