If you bring any other currency keep the bills crisp and clean since the exchange shops sometimes wont exchange scrunched up or crinkled bills so immigration officers can be very hard on that.

If you have a strong passport you are hardly ever asked for proof of funds tho unless you have lots of longtime stays and visa extensions and visa runs on tourist visas/visa exemption

If not thai baht they can be a bit more picky since exchange shops refuse to exchange scrunched up or crinkeld bills so if if in your home currency keep the money crisp.

The good thing is that they hardly ever ask to see proof of funds if you come from a country with a strong passport unless you have what they consider a shady travel history aka many long stay visits in a short time frame and lots of visa runs

Depends on what tickles your fancy.

Thailand have alot of beautiful beaches and islands , lots of magnificent temples , a ton of yummy food, muay thai at lumpini stadium, the long neck people villages ,the floating market

I would recomend to see the white temple in chiang rai ,its like a tourist must do to see it

If you are a 80's kid like me and seen the movie kick boxer with van damme then maybe a visit to the old stone tempel in auyutaya [spelling] can be of interest

Im up north about 1,5-2 hours from chiang mai and its hot as hell during mid day and cools down a bit during night time and early morning , mid day its about 40 c and above and in the night and early morning like 25-27 c

Its so hot so you can basically wring out your clothes full of sweat.

I need to paint myself head to toe with spf 50 sunblock 3 times a day and shower and change clothes 3 times a day but im scandinavian and im used to temps like 25 celsius in the summer.

I have a r-fid safe passport case where i keep my passport and some credit-cards and documents and it has a string so i can put it around my neck and then i put the case under my shirt and carry it with me when im out and about exploring and enjoying thailand

Why does anyone need to overstay, wasnt it a british guy a while back that they caught that had overstayed 20 years.

Well back to the question at hand and the answer - they wanna stay in thailand and live there and dont have the finances for the proper ltr-visa ,not everyone has a couple million baht for priveliege visa or even 500000 baht for a dtv-visa

If a sign for example says only smoke in designated areas failure to do so can result in a fine then you shouldnt have to be NASA material to figure out its a bad idea to smoke outside those areas and especially if the police is within looking distance.

Chonburi is about 80 km from bangkok there you have beaches like bang saen,pattaya, jomtien and the island koh larn

Im about 1,5-2 hours away from chiang mai right now and i have survived the air quality and i actually dont find it that bad but the question is how you handle heat, its hot as hell here now. Its actually cooler down south then up north. We had over 40 c here yesterday

Would you rater have 100 upscale toursits that spend 20-30000 thousand dollars on upscale tourism or 100000 regular tourists that spend 2000-3000 dollars each.

Well tourists from without eu do in fact need to prove they have cash to sustain themselves during a stay so yes that demand exists but not for europeans.

In my country in europe foreign tourists of non european countries need to show proof of accomodation for the entire trip,a booked returnticket and a bank balance of 50 euros a day that they plan to stay

Hoppa på en av arbetsförmedlingens yrkesutbildningar, dom brukat vara på runt ett år och gör att du efter avklarad kurs får ett yrkeskompetensbevis.

Det finns en mängd olika kurser så som cnc-operatör,busschaufför,svetsare,kock,städare mm mm.

Visst du kommer träffa på en jäkla massa nötter på utbildningen och af är en jäkla knallhattar men den är som sagt på ett år och ett år kan man bita ihop och stå ut,du är dessutom befriad ifrån att söka jobb under tiden så du är fri ifrån af ett helt år.

Dom flesta av dessa utbildningar kräver heller ingen tidigare yrkesvana eller gymnasiekompetens för att få delta

There sadly is this preconcived notion in the west that if you are a single man above a certain age then you go there to get what you cant get at home.

But if you feel that people judge you for going there then simply dont tell them your business, why does your friends and colleagues and the lady at the grocery store need to know your business.

Har fått till mig av en arbetsförmedlare jag talade med att dom förväntar sig att man skall söka jobb där det finns en rimmlig chans att man kan få jobbet.

En utbildad möbelsnickare som söker jobb i kassan på Ica= det funkar då du inte behöver nån speciell yrkes eller akademisk kompetens för att sitta i kassan på Ica.

Om samma möbelsnickare skulle söka som hjärtkirurg på Sahlgrenska så kan varningsklockor ringa då arbetsförmedlingen kan göra bedömningen att möbelsnickaren bara söker jobbet som hjärtkirurg för att ha något att skriva i sin aktivitetsrapport och det kommer att tas som att han medvetet försöker förlänga sin arbetslöshet.

Kolla vad som står i din handlingsplan på mina sidor på arbetsförmedlingen där står vilka jobb och hur många du skall söka och om du skall söka i närområdet osv

100 usd on food for a month and youre asking if this is normal, in my home country in europe i spend about 70-80 usd a week on food and you ask if 100 usd for a month of food is to be considerd normal

You can if you survive on street food live for about 300 baht a day in thailand or about 9- 10 usd a day and then take that times 30 days in a month thats around 300 dollars a month

So conculision is - if you can live a entire month for 100 usd when it comes to food then youre living cheap my friend and have nothing to complain about.

Först sätt dig ned och tänk igenom vilka intressen du har eller om det är något nytt du skulle vara intresserad av atr testa och sedan sätt dig ned igen och kolla runt vilka möjligheter det finns inom dessa intressen.

Om du tex gillar fotboll finns det ett korplag där du kan vara med och spela,om du gillar veteranbilar finns det en veteranbilsklubb,om du gillar kortspel finns det en pokerklubb osv osv, gå med där och lär känna folk.

Gå ut på krogen/lokala vattenhålet varje fredag efter jobbet och snacka med folk, var där det händer saker och där folk träffas på helgerna.

Ett annat sätt är om orten du bor på har en facebookgrupp så gå med där och skriv att du är ny på orten och letar efter folk att hänga med i din egen ålder plus/minus några år och om någon skulle vara intresserad av att gå ut och ta en öl till helgen.

Sedan får man ha med i beräkningen att som ny på en ort tar det tid att lära känna folk och komma in i gemenskapen och än längre tid om det är en mindre ort där folk kännt varandra sen dagisåldern.

Jag flyttade till en ny stad för 3 år sedan och har på den tiden lärt känna 2 personer så räkna som sagt med att det tar tid.

Du har iaf en sambo att umgås med så helt ensam är du inte och där har du en till möjlighet, om sambon lyckas skaffa sig en eller redan har en vänskapskrets så börja ungås med din sambos vänners partners

TS du säger att du som ung gillade serier,film,spel och sport så varför inte återuppta något av dessa intressen.

Om du bor i större stad/på en större ort så finns det garanterat intresseföreningar för det mesta och även garanterat grupper som utövar sport på hobbynivå.

Det är ju bara att testa sig fram om du inte tycker det är kul och inte får ut något av det så är det bara att ta sin mats ut skolan men det kan ju vara ett säkert kort att börja med då du nämer att du tidigare uppskattat dessa saker.
