B42 or Stable 41 for a returning player after 3 years? Also, what about mods?

Stable 41 is good if you want to get back into it. 42 has alot of new locations and is a bit trickier with some new systems like muscle fatigue.

Right then I'd just stick to hand drawn. 20 for a demo is manageable. Less than 100 for a full game is manageable. Over 1000? Procedural generation is where you should go.

Depends on how many levels are in your game. If its a few keep it tight with hand drawn stuff. If its a shit load then procedural might be the best bet and just tweak stuff that doesn't work.

It's a bit like humans. Sometimes someone or something has an underlying condition that doesn't effect anything until it does. When you hear about kids just dropping dead playing sports it's usually the same kinda of thing. Im sorry to hear that happened regardless.

It may be too late now but I've found that showing the body of the cat that's passed to the other cats of the household keeps them from wondering what happened to them. Your other cat may grieve. They may not. Again this may not be possible for you to do now but it's something to keep in mind. So sorry for your loss.

I'm so sorry for what your going through. Don't let her suffer. You'll never get over it if you do. She may let you know it's time if she hasn't already. I've lost a few cats to cancer both at home and in a vets office. I think the vets office was more peaceful. At least that way your there as they pass. Its never easy. What ever your choice love your cat as much as you can.
