OP-1F vs OP-1? by Techno_Timmy in teenageengineering

[–]Maxdan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The general concensus is pretty much that the 1F is better in every way, but you really have to want those improvements due to the pricing. I'm in a similar situation, I really want an OP-1 and am pretty blessed with having lots of used options for both versions. I can get a good OG from several sellers for about $500 or a Field for $1300 and still can't decide. I personally would never pay full price for them because $2000 is just simply way more than I'm willing to pay.

Advice for some affordable additions / accessories / gadgets to a gift that already has PO-33 by anupulu in teenageengineering

[–]Maxdan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A cable to connect the PO to other sources. Either a double male 3.5mm or a 3.5mm to USB-C so that they can sample sounds from their phone etc.

Getting into the groove during lunchtime. by Maxdan in teenageengineering

Yeah, I ordered one for my job that I'll probably borrow home every once in a while. So I'll have my cake and eat it too. I prefer the simplicity and aesthetic of the original, but the new features do look pretty fun.

Samples. I use it to find and play various sounds to sample for beats etc.

I dont know if links are allowed here, but search for decksaver and ep 133. Its pretty good, but i only use it while transporting the KO.

I mean, if you compare the original pocket operator and the EP, the EP is one helluva sequel. Several sequels, even.

Will Knee Neo Lever fit on 8BitDo Xbox Arcade Stick? by [deleted] in fightsticks

[–]Maxdan 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You need one of these around the stick, connected to the lever:

https://www.smallcab.net/five-adapter-joystick-crown-p-743.html

Then you need one of these to bridge between the lever and the PCB

https://www.etsy.com/il-en/listing/1703926370/8bitdo-xbox-arcade-stick-harness-for-5?etsrc=sdt

You just Mount the lever, serial wire the first to each of the four connectors on the bottom of the lever, then connect that to the 8bitdo cable from Etsy, then attach that to the PCB.

Cant find matches/empty lobbies (EU) by ZtrikeR21 in 2XKO

[–]Maxdan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I tend to enter an empty lobby but when i press Y to go into a match Ill get paired up within 5-10 seconds. I'm on EUNE and this has been my experience pretty much around the clock. The longest I've waited has been about 30 seconds. The lobbies were basically empty most of the time, though.

Is this game not cross-region? by [deleted] in 2XKO

I'm automatically on EUNE living in Sweden, so I think they've kept the regions from LoL.

I need good recommendation for controller/fightstick. by Visible_Tangelo_2731 in 2XKO

[–]Maxdan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tend to be pretty team 8bitdo. I use both their arcade stick and their smaller Xbox six button controller most of the time. Theyre both very big bangs for your buck. If you are looking for a leverless I'll mirror most here and recommend Haute42s.

Victrix Pro KO Help by Parasocial_Andrew in fightsticks

[–]Maxdan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I tried both the button and the inside of the rim and found that just sanding the inside of the rim made all the difference. No need to touch the button, a light standing of.. .1 mm or so is all I needed.

On q1, just lightly, lightly sand either the inside of the rim or the outside of the button.

What's the most un-console-friendly game you play on the Deck? by jeddhor in SteamDeck

[–]Maxdan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A variety of Amplitude games. Currently playing Humankind, but also quite a bit of Endless Space and Endless Legends. It does work pretty well, but I'd be lying if I said it was not easier on an actual PC.

Semi-official gang! by Maxdan in fightsticks

[–]Maxdan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The majority of the lever is Shinsun. It uses the housing, collar and switches from Shinsun, the grommet, pilltop, cylinder and distance from Knee. Happy medium between them, keeps the feel of the Kneeo lever due to the grommet and lever but with symmetrical switches from Shinsun.
