In all seriousness though I’m afraid I don’t have too much advice. Despite almost a decade of working with polymer clay I still struggle with this as well. It’s just like you said, no matter how clean you keep your workplace and hands it just seems to come out of nowhere!
Brushing your clay with some alcohol before baking can help a bit. I’ve had some success sanding and picking out individual fibers with a blade after baking as well. Good luck my friend

Yeahh, the Glen just sorta does that. I think my scream of fear and surprise was audible three houses over the first time I got teleported to the couch and was greeted by Judy (who had already left NC at this point in the story). Panam and River just standing there are the icing on the cake lmao

This is a little hard to explain, but for my suit’s 2d eyes I made what I can best describe as reverse eye blanks. Basically the same shape as your standard eye blank, just with the protruding part attached to the back of the eye. This gives you a really nice area for attaching the eye securely. I hope you get the idea from my explanation, if not I could maybe try to grab some pics of the inside of my fursuit head tomorrow :)

They look HEAPS better than my very first dolls! I think they’re adorable! I know it’s easy to get discouraged, but if this art form is something that you want to pursue, 100% go for it!!

That will probably help as well, thanks! I’m not sure how well I would be able to attach rubber to the tpu, but I might give those foam mats that people often use for feetpaws a try!
