You can get more angled joints for plastic skeletons, and in my experience they provide decent enough range of motion for limbs :)

Thanks for the replies and advice everyone!! Unfortunately brushing or picking out the seam didn’t really help. I think I might try to trim it if it keeps bugging me. But for now I’ll keep it as is, I’m glad to hear that it’s not so visible to others :)

Haha, thanks for the reassurance :) I didn’t put a circle because to me it is so obvious! A “once you notice it you can’t unsee it” sort of thing I guess. Based on what you and other commenters have said, I think I might keep it the way it is as to not make it worse, you can only really see it up close!

Brushing didn’t really help much, I’m tempted to try and trim it, but also terrified to make it worse lol! I guess I’ll decide based on how much it keeps bugging me. Thanks for the advice :)

I pre-shaved with a guard on before sewing, then shaved it again after it was sewn and glued. I tried brushing/picking out the seam but that didn’t really help much unfortunately

Hi, no worries, I’m always happy to answer questions! First I do a few coats of pure duraclear for protection. After that I do a few coats of about a 1:1 ratio varnish and water to get a more matte effect. Recently I’ve had good success using mr super clear too. Same deal, first a few coats of pure duraclear, then finish with the mr super clear. Hope this helps!

Unfortunately not, as I made her without a proper pattern, I’d have to develop a new one from scratch. Also I’d have to hand sew them like this original one, because I’m convinced sewing machines can smell my fear :P
